This island cottage/boathouse property is a great secluded retreat for a family getaway with friends. Nestled amongst a group of islands on Lake Joe, this property is perfect for canoeing, swimming, fishing or just chilling on the dock. The natural rock cliff provides ample protection against the open lake wind, ideal for anyone wanting to swim and play on the sandy beach.

When not on the water, guests can chose to walk along the island's hiking trails or read on one of the many rocky ledges that skirt the 2 acre property.

The boathouse has a chill lounge area right on lake with fridge and laundry area. Upstairs is an open concept living area with breakout bedrooms. The boathouse has a simple kitchen with BBQ as most of the cooking is done in the main cottage. There is a Muskoka room with screened windows for those wanting a read or quiet time.

The main cottage has a patio dining area with main kitchen, a living room and 3 bedrooms. Note that the third bedroom is part of the upstairs landing. The Muskoka room has a TV and DVD player setup. Movies available.

The kitchen has a full fridge/freezer, stove, dishwasher, sink and microwave. Kitchen is ready to use with all cutlery and cooking utensils ready to go.
