Gillies Bay: Best kept secret.
Very clean and tastefully decorated. Beds were comfortable. Well kitted out with appliances, cultlery and everything you might need. Parking on site for one vehicle, so if you are comfortable parking 2nd vehicle on the street, then it works well. Also not amenable to electric vehicles as there was no exterior outlet for charging an all electric. We loved the wood stove, which was very cozy and warm. I also particularly loved the character of the home with old fir floors. Very close to Shelter Point which is such a lovely place to walk to, as is Gillies Bay, which the home has a good view of, especially the sunsets. Texada is one of the coast's best kept secrets.
