Really calm and beautiful stay

We loved the house, we had all we needed and the house was clean. The environment was calming and the beach nearby was a plus for us and our kids. It was our first time in La Porte and we are planning to visit again.

Nice location and plenty of space! House just needed some TLC with cleaning, lights burnt out, and the A/C filters/unit seemed to need servicing. Some of the towels had stains on them but overall could be a great vacation spot.

Had a great week staying here with the whole family! Property was very clean and looks just like the listing photos! Cricket, the host, was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. There’s a big park and beach just steps away, great for kids!

Great Vacation Home

We had a minor issue when we arrived at the home which it delayed our check in for about an hour (not the management’s fault) but it was resolved quickly. Good location, we could see the sea by the balcony and its just one minute walk to the beach. Convinience store right next door. The house has everything you need for a few days stay, we had a blast, family approved Thank you Cricket

It was large, clean, and pleasant. Those who sat on the balcony said the view of the ocean was blocked by railing. What's lacking? No closet space to hang clothes, no broom, no laundry detergent, no extra large white trash bags, no cable access, no hangers in one available closet, no kleenex. The wife made sure nothing was left in the master bathroom and opened every door, including those we did not use. One door feel off the hinge. it apparently was damaged before we arrived. Owner didn't inspect property before renting again.

Beautiful Property

The property is well kept and clean. Plenty of natural light, and 3 balconies to choose from. Spacious kitchen, bedrooms and living areas. Cricket (owner) was extremely nice and would always respond to any questions or concerns. I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a home away from home!

Overall stay

The property was nice but was lacking some key things. It was inconvenient not having closets to hang our clothes in as all the bedroom closets were locked. The third bedrooms bed was more of a small hide a bed and not comfortable for an adult. Kitchen could also use some more cooking utensils. It should be stated that you need to provide both kitchen garbage bags and large black bags as garbage is twice a week and you need to place garbage on street in black bags rather then the cans. Other than these things it is an overall nice home in a quiet area.
