About this property
Lovely Large Camp/Cottage Near Thunder Bay
This lovely large cottage camp is on a sandy beach on a lake near Thunder Bay Ontario Canada. It has all amenities and a newly renovated basement. It now sleeps 20 on beds.
We have a main floor master bedroom with a queen size bed and two rooms on the main floor that have bunkbeds (one is a single over double the other is single over single )-we also have a pull out couch in one of the living rooms that is queen size. In the basement we have a large finished room that has a single over double bed and a double futon. There is another room with a double bed We also have two bunkbeds in another part of the basement. The basement is accessed from a door in the front (lake side) of the cottage Also in the basement is a ping-pong table
We have two full bathrooms. One is attached to an electric sauna. We also have a washroom in the basement
We cancelled wifi as it was patchy but we have excellent cel service
Though towels and linens are available you may bring your own
All kitchen appliances coffee maker and cutlery crockery etc. We have TVs and some film DVDs books and games. We have some old bikes and sporting equipment in the garage
We have canoe, kayak, stand up paddleboard and a paddle boat. We also have and lifejackets and paddles for them. Please ensure that if you use the boat that they aren’t tied securely to the dock or put away on land. There is a gas barbecue We don’t guarantee that the barbeque gas tanks will be full although we won’t leave them empty. There is a fire pit and an outdoor eating area with lots of seating (2 patio tables and chairs and deck surrounded by benches-extra chairs in basement). The water is from a deep artesian well and is tested annually and clean to drink
Please separate the garbage and recycling and if you can bring him bring it into town or the dump that’s great if not leave it in the garage.
We have dishwasher and washer/dryer (but we use clothesline and pegs which are in a white macrame purse inside the garage door
All cleaning supplies are provided-(please just leave it as you found it)! The broom, mop and vacuum are in a hidden cupboard behind the door to the kitchen.
There is a small store at the Pass Lake turn off on the highway but most groceries home can be bought in Thunder Bay.
