Welcome to "Mag-nificent" cottage, located in the charming township of Magnetawan on Beaver Lake. This traditional cottage offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for families and groups seeking a peaceful getaway. With its cathedral windows providing stunning views of the water, you'll feel truly connected to nature throughout your stay and wish you never had to leave.

Inside the cottage, you'll find ample bedrooms and entertainment space for up to 9 guests (maximum 6 adults). There are 4 bedrooms, including 2 Queen beds, 1 room with Double/Single bunk beds, and 1 room with 2 Single beds. The cottage also features 2 bathrooms, one with a 4-piece setup and another with a shower. The cottage also comes with all of the perks of modern amenities, like a dishwasher and washer / dryer. Entertainment options include a TV with a DVD player and Firestick for streaming (no channel reception), as well as a sound system. While we know everyone wants to get out of the city and relax, you can still stay connected with Wi-Fi available. Additionally, there's a ping pong table, but try not to get too competitive!

Waterfront The lake has a sandy/rocky bottom, with few to no weeds. You're welcome to bring a boat up to 20' in length.

The Cornelia Levering Broadmeadows Trail. Traverses areas of different forest stands and ecosystem types including hardwood maple, pockets of white pine, and a small tamarack plantation.(30 mins)
Whitestone Waterfront Park. Waterfront park offering a public beach for swimming; floating swimming platform, and children's playground equipment. (20 mins)
Screaming Heads. Unique site featuring a castle and the depiction of the apocalypse using screaming heads and scared hands,howling wolves, 4 horsemen of the apocalypse and much more! The sculptures are spread over 300 acres of property. (30 minutes)
Island Queen Cruise. Take a day trip and join a cruise on the beautiful waters and spectacular surroundings of Georgian Bay. Of particular note is the adventure tour to Huckleberry Island, including a guided hike on the island and cool off with a dip in the secluded, shallow beach area there. (50 mins)

House Rules (must meet these to book): Sleeps 9 (max 6 adults), Saturday- Saturday only during the summer (last week of June - start of Sept), Lead guest must be 30+ years old. Family groups only are accepted at this cottage. No pets allowed. No parties allowed. No smoking allowed. Outdoor fires are not permitted. A supplemental information form must be completed.

A supplemental information form (under 5 min to complete) which includes information on the guests and agreeing to our rental agency's terms and conditions is required to be completed to finalize the booking.
