Slope-Side Comfort on Assay Hill

This charming, light-filled slope-side condo offers a welcoming retreat with a clean, open layout that seamlessly connects the kitchen, dining, and living areas. The fully equipped kitchen features a breakfast bar for casual dining, while the adjacent dining table seats six comfortably — perfect for relaxed mountain meals or après-ski gatherings. The living room invites guests to unwind beside the wood-burning fireplace and enjoy mountain views through large windows that fill the space with natural light. Step outside to the mountainside patio, where you'll find a gas grill and fresh alpine air — an ideal setting for year-round enjoyment.

This residence is located on the second floor, accessible via elevator in the newly renovated arrival center. (Non-smoking unit.)

Exceptional Ski Access & On-Site Amenities
The Enclave is perfectly situated on Assay Hill, between the Elk Camp Gondola and Assay Hill Chairlift, offering true ski-in/ski-out convenience to world-class Snowmass slopes. Guests enjoy a variety of on-site amenities, including a heated outdoor pool, hot tub, elevator access, and private ski lockers.
For added convenience, a complimentary shuttle provides easy access to Snowmass Base Village and Upper Village, home to premier lifts, restaurants, shops, and year-round events.

Ski Access Notes:
First-floor units feature ski storage on private patios.
Second- and third-floor guests have ski lockers located in the central hallway between buildings 2 and 3. From there, guests can ski directly to the Assay Hill Chairlift, connecting to the midway gondola station or continuing down to Base Village.
Alternatively, guests may take a short stair climb (~100 feet) for direct ski access to Base Village.

Fantastic condo with great mountain views and great location!

My family loved our stay in Snowmass at the Enclave! This unit had everything we needed for a summer trip to the mountains. We loved waking up and sitting on the balcony in the mornings or walking downhill to the village while everything was still quiet. The pool and hot tub on site were great and the kids loved them after hot summer days of hiking. We had one small issue upon arrival, but property manager Paul handled it impeccably. And we didn't even realize that daily housekeeping was part of renting here, so that was a pleasant surprise as well! Hope to be back again next summer!

Pros and Cons

Pros: Clean apartment as described. All appliances provided. Good views. Cons: Not all ski-in/ski-outs are created equal. There are 35 steps just to get to the elevator from parking (it's on a hill of course). Convoluted way to get to the ski lockers (up and down several sets of stairs) and the jacuzzi/pool (never used it once). Worst: My son left his sweater behind. I called the same day to arrange for retrieval. First they said the cleaning crew has not gone yet. I called next day and again the same answer. 3rd day they said nothing has been returned. Very disappointed by management response. They could've/should've done better than this. In short, nothing against the apartment itself, but do not like the location, building layout, and management response.

Great ski in ski out

We loved the ample space, views of the mountain, and natural fireplace. It was very much so a great, cozy spot to come back to after a full day on the slopes. Highly recommend for anyone that's looking to lodge right on the mountain.
