Dated property but great location

The location of the house was the best part of our stay. Two blocks to the beach and walking distance to downtown Cannon Beach. The house is tucked away on a residential street that is quiet however the house is pretty dark due to tree cover and limited sunshine. When we arrived, we did not find check in instructions so we had no hot water until the next morning. Thankfully the property management company was responsive. The house was very clean but it’s very dated. All of the appliances need updating and the bathrooms are old. The bedrooms are on the larger size but there’s limited furniture (no dressers so we lived out of our suitcase for a week). The fourth bedroom is a pull out couch and there were no linens provided. The staircase to the downstairs bedrooms and laundry is pretty steep so you need to take care. The kitchen had all the necessary pots, pans, etc. I’m all my years renting thru VRBO, I never had check out instructions tell me to wash and fold all the sheets. :-/
