35 minutes north-west of Dijon, not far from the site of the Battle of Alesia, close to major European cities. Come re-energise in a charming gîte with “no kill' fishing in a truly charming setting. Frédéric Dansert offers a lovely stay in a new house made from a wooden framework of eco-friendly wood. It is modern and on stilts, with 4-star rating from Côte d'Or tourism. It was designed by the 'Ar-tek' architect collective and overlooks the Ignon, 1st class river, right beside a 19th century mill. Sports enthusiasts, couples or families can enjoy nature, the cuisine, and the Grands Crus vineyards and discover what the Burgundy region has to offer. Escape for a moment.

One of the benefits of Pont de la Roche Gîte is that from your bed, at dawn, you can watch nature awaken on the edge of a small, authentic river. An observation window was installed for this reason.

Das Haus entspricht der Beschreibung, schön abgelegen am Bach mit viel Natur (Rehe, usw.) Sehr angenehm bei 40C ist die Kühle des Bachs. Check-in und der Umgang mit Frédéric waren sehr angenehm. Ein kleiner Nachteil der Abgeschiedenheit: Wenn man die Wochen trifft, in denen die nächste Boulangerie geschlossen hat, dann sind es plötzlich 20+min zum frischen Baguette. FeWo-direkt nervt mit zu vielen Erinnerungsmails. Sehr unangenehm.

Amazing - just you and nature

We stayed in Le Cube in 2013 and fell in love with it. It’s location isvery tranquil and beautiful. Le Cube has very high standard fixtures and fittings. Making the window in the lounge larger brought the scenery inside. Frederic is a fabulous host, making sure that everything was OK without being intrusive. It really is a magical place

Superbe ilôt de calme

Très bel endroit, isolé, calme, hyper confortable, avec la forêt juste à côté et le clapotis de la rivière à nos pieds. Le cube est tout confort, tout (bien) équipé, on a passé d'excellentes vacances en famille. Avec un super accueil 5 étoiles aussi, merci Frédéric. Mention supplémentaire pour le petit bouillon chaud le soir quand il fume sous les étoiles.

Wunderschön gelegen

Sehr sauberes, genau den Beschreibungen entsprechendes Haus, schön eingerichtet, gut ausgestattete Küche, extrem idyllisch gelegen. Man kann im Bach oder im hotpot baden. Sehr freundlicher und angenehmer Vermieter. Wir waren da mit zwei Kleinkindern, da muss man natürlich entsprechend vorsichtig sein mit dem Flüsschen. Wir haben es sehr genossen!

Un véritable moment de bonheur

La vie, le travail, les projets qui se succèdent et un beau jour nous voilà à la recherche d'une pause dans le rythme effréné de notre quotidien...Nous recherchions le calme proche de la nature et accessible avec notre chien (gros pépère de 53kilos ayant besoin d'espace) afin de nous ressourcer. Nous avons passé trois jours dans le Cube.Tout d'abord nous avons été très agréablement surpris par le cadre, le confort, l'excellent état du lieu ( qui a quand même 5ans), ses équipements et sa propreté irréprochable! Nous avons pu découvrir cette belle région et nous émerveiller des belles propriétés et de la nature environnante. Nous avons eu un coup de coeur pour le visuel et le son de la rivière depuis le lit ou le canapé (bien mieux qu'une tv) et nous sommes délecté de notre expérience nocturne dans le bain nordique. La terrasse pouvant se fermer par un portillon cela a apporté un plus à notre séjour, notre chien ayant pu y rester calmement ou bien courir à sa guise, pour son plus grand bonheur dans le parc ou la rivière adjacente. Le plus beau de cette expérience reste tout de même la rencontre humaine. Frédéric DANSERT nous accueille avec la plus grande gentillesse, serviable et riche en petites attentions, il a le grand coeur de partager son petit coin de paradis avec nous et nous sentons que cela est fait avec un plaisir sincère. Il est bon de rencontrer encore de telles personnes à notre époque. La nostalgie de ces trois jours est déjà là... ce qui pour nous est la meilleure preuve que nous y avons vécu une merveilleuse expérience. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Encore merci aux propriétaires pour ce doux moment passé.

Ruhe, Intimität und Natur...calme, nature et intimité...

...so kann man unseren Aufenthalt in Frenais beschreiben. Der Ort alleine macht es nicht aus, auch der Kubus gehört zum Gelingen der Ferien. Die einfache Einrichtung lässt zu, dass man sein Zuhause dort wiederfindet. Die herrliche Natur lädt zur Ruhe ein. Der "Cube" ist der ideale Ort für Zweisamkeit...kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Un dépaysement !

Un dépaysement ! Cher Frédéric Nous sommes probablement les clients les plus difficiles à satisfaire ayant nous même une activité similaire dans un registre beaucoup plus grand. (La Tour de Labergement) Et malgré ces 20 m², tu as su nous étonner et même plus ! Chaque recoin et chaque détail de ce petit nid sur l'eau en font une "cabane" plus que dépaysant. Cela commence par la rapidité de la réponse lors de la réservation et l'ensemble des informations fournies avant l'arrivée Une fois sur place, tout correspond aux attentes ... Frédéric nous accueille avec toute sa cordialité et sa passion pour ses " enfants" Le Cube et La Cabane Le Cube a été agencé avec réflexion et décoré avec goût, les matériaux sont de qualité, la réalité est supérieure aux photos, compte tenu de l'intelligence de l'agencement ont se sent très à l'aise dans le Cube Rien n'y manque y compris les produits de base, tous les appareils d'électroménager sont présents et de qualité et la literie très confortable L ´ emplacement du Cube est parfaitement situé le long de l'Ignon dans lequel on peut apercevoir des truites...du Cube à la tombée de la nuit on peut apercevoir des biches, tout en entendant, si c'est l'époque, le brame du cerf au loin.... La situation géographique permet de rayonner sur le nord bourgogne, une multitudes de sites à visiter à moins d'une heure de route Tout au long du sejour, Frédéric est d'une attention totale mais discrète à l'égard de ses hôtes Le Cube est une expérience unique dont on peut profiter sans modération ... Merci encore à Frédéric d'avoir été au bout de ses idées pour réaliser ce havre de paix

The Cube - A Wonderful place to stay with a chance of great fly fishing on "your" own private river

We stayed at the cube in September 2016. It is an incredible place to stay. Everyone will mention how peaceful it is, how stylishly designed, how well equipped it is, how close you get to nature that live around it and how relaxing the Cube is. It is all that and much more. From the Cube you can explore the wonderful Burgundian landscapes, medieval hill top villages and towns, the city of Dijon, and the wine region of Burgundy. You can eat in wonderful restaurants, purchase some of the best wine in the world or you can just sit, relax and watch the world go by. The river is the jewel in the crown of the Cube. For those that like to sit on the deck and watch the world go by there is a chance that you will miss wonderful things. Take a short walk up the river and watch the fish and crayfish as they go about there daily lives. Wander down and watch the chub and trout as they feed and a little further down and watch the otters. Stand still and quiet and wait for the kingfisher to come streaming by. Around the mill you will see the dippers going about their daily lives. Take a fly fishing rod, there is marvelous “catch and release” fishing here, lots of species to target, none of which are easy to catch, but it is great fun trying. I loved wandering the banks of my own "private" section of this wonderful river. A wander with the fly rod, then back for supper on the deck (with a bottle of local red wine) is one of my memories of the Cube Frederic is a wonderful host. His Cube is superb so I would suggest that you book early so that you are not disappointed – we waited had to try twice to get our booking.

Ein Paradies

Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche im Le Cube verbracht. Der Vermieter Frédéric Dansert hat an jedes Detail im Haus und im Garten gedacht, ist sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. So etwas ist nicht selbstverständlich. Wir und unser Labrador haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser Labrador genoß den Fluß und das sehr große Grundstück und wir das Jacuzzi. Wunderschöne Ferien

Wir waren das dritte Mal in Folge in diesem tollen Haus. Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts, der Vermieter ist wirklich sehr herzlich und kümmert sich rührend. Unbedingt einen Fotoapparat mitnehmen: Die Wildtiere spazieren einem direkt vor die Linse!! Sehr schön ist die Lage am Fluss außerhalb des Dorfes. Eine wahre Idylle, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Les vacances les plus resourçantes au bord d'une rivière....;

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans le Cube! C'est un véritable cocon, d'une propreté irréprochable et avec tout le confort souhaité.Les ouvertures offrent un tableau changeant sur la nature, très apaisant.Le doux bruit de la rivière, les champs d'oiseaux, une nature très sereine ajoutent au charme fou de l'endroit.Frédéric nous a reçu avec une grande gentillesse,il aime sa belle région et sait le faire partager!Vous pouvez suivre ses conseils les yeux fermés!Nous sommes on ne peut plus satisfaits de notre séjour et lorsque nous souhaiterons une parenthèse enchanté au milieu de notre vie trépidante, nous penserons au Cube ou peut-être à la Cabane toute aussi charmante !..... Magnifique endroit

J'ai eu l'occasion de séjourner dans le Cube du Pont de la Roche pendant les vacances scolaires du mois de Février dernier. J'y ai découvert un endroit ou la nature est magnifique et le Cube un espace de vie original, Design et d'une propreté irréprochable. Le maitre des lieux Frederic Dansert est tout aussi charmant, il nous a accueillis avec générosité et bienveillance. Je recommande cet petit paradis qui procure dépaysement et repos et qui nous a permis de visiter cette belle région qui est la Bourgogne !!!
