The property was in a great spot, a short walk to the shops and beaches with wonderful views. The beds were comfortable and the towels and bedding were fine. The house is older but works. We had a great time.
Day 1 our children were attacked from bed bugs, the beds were covered in bugs, we have all had 2 weeks of bites, itchy rashes from the disgusting bed bugs. It has ruined our holiday Christmas experience. We have bought flee bombs and many fly sprays and this has not got rid of the bugs, the beds for the kids were so disgusting our daughter spent her Christmas money on a blow up mattress to sleep on. This is not what we paid for.The advertised house was not at all what was advertised, the house was not safe for our kids, no fly screens on windows with the real threat of falling out of the windows in the lounge room area there was a potential fall from a real dangerous neglect. The thing glass windows is illegal. The advertised house was not pet friendly at all, there was no back yard side fences, we had to build a temporary side fences to prevent dogs exiting the back yard area to the busy roads. The reason and only reason we took the advertised holiday house was it was advertised as pet friendly, this is not what we paid for.The house was advertised as having wifi, the house did not have wifi as advertised, this is not what we paid for. The conditions of the house was run down and in need of real maintenance. The main shower tiles coming off the wall, front steps were a trip hazard, the clothes
Excellent location and great outlook from many rooms. The two queen bed rooms were great.
The bunk room smelt very musty/dusty and there were no screens so windows could not be opened. The wooden sliding door to the bunk bed room did not slide easily.
The single beds bed room was rather musty/dusty and there were small crawling insects that kept being found on the bed that was situated under the window.
The sheets and towels overall were very clean however the doona covers, doonas and spare woollen blankets although good quality needed to be washed as they smelt very dusty/musty. Once I had washed all doona covers/doonas and woollen blankets on the first day our stay was much more comfortable. Both my son and I are allergic to dust so without washing everything our stay would have been full of sneezing and antihistamines.
Love the open plan kitchen and lounge area, great that all the blinds function enough to enable them to be closed each night.
The house is extremely damp to the point it causes breathing difficulty. We had to open every single window and door to try and air it out. We all ended up coughing because of it. I would go to the extent of saying it is a health hazard !!! Also it is quite cool at night but the only heating is a bar heater with frayed wiring and summer strength doonas . We could not use any blankets from cupboards because of the extreme smell of mould !!! I advise anyone looking at this house to stay in to look elsewhere.
Great location, needs some maintenance work to fix the leaks.
We enjoyed our stay. The price was fair. Communication was good. The property needs a bit of maintenance to fix the leaks from the roof, but to be fair there was a lot of rain leading up to our say. Thanks for letting us stay.
It’s perfect if seeking a basic place to stay. A split system and better cookware cutlery would be a worthwhile investment for the owners

Great house but .....
This was a great house with a retro 60's theme. It was close to town, clean and the retro theme was cute. Beds were comfortable with electric blankets. Unfortunately the 60's theme extended to the technology (or lack of it!) no wifi was a problem and the tiny bar heater made it quite uncomfortable in temperatures of 1 degree. I would definitely stay again if this was improved.
