The house and view were beautiful! Wish the pool was heated. December is a bit chilly.

Fort Myers home rental

The property was well maintained,although the surrounding property’s were still damaged from the hurricane. A few improvements need to be made. Hand rails need to be installed on the front porch, also hand rails need to be installed in other places, including the pool. But all in all a very good property.

A great house on the river

Our family of 5 had an awesome stay at this rental. We had a family of manitee swim by, saw a dolphin while out kayaking and had a 6' croc stop by every few days. The pool was a great escape from the heat and the screened in pool area was perfect to keep out the mosquitos. We caught a lot of catfish, a few sharks,a big turtle and even a rare sawfish(we immediately released it back). Lost some pretty big fish that we never had the opportunity to see. Only negatives we had were the lack of drinking dishes (we went and bought some), I wish the listing had more info on the dock situation (it was destroyed from the hurricane) and the neighborhood surrounding the rental was a bit sketchy. We didn't have a single issue with any of the neighbors but the area isn't the best. Overall we had an amazing time and having the pool and the river to fish in was exactly what we were looking for.

FAMILY GETAWAY

Traveled to Ft Myers to visit family - over all the house was lovely with beautiful views!!!! and we enjoyed our stay - good communication. Only issue was no hot water in master bedroom- I think the Cartridge in the shower was installed wrong- personal experience, we had ants in the kitchen and the air was continually resetting itself to 78 degrees. It was hot and we were constantly monitoring the air, annoying. I gave a 4 star for these things, saying that we were so busy I did not want to waste time waiting for repairs, so we sucked it up. *We were excited to go kayaking, but when fishing there were alligators near the dock, so we decided against that. Would stay again! Convenient to everything!
