The Space
In the home of a local writer and her husband is a great place to relax for business travellers, or a great base from which to explore Melbourne’s secrets. The room has a lovely feel, and an easy sense of quiet and calm. At one end is a small kitchenette, with microwave and electric frypan for light cooking, a sink and small fridge—with an ice tray! A separate bathroom has a bath and shower, and a lovely sunny skylight. A garden seat offers a quiet sunny sit.

The place has a tranquil, easy-going atmosphere of a real home that guests love. It is clean, stylish, interesting and set in a garden boasting a fabulous lemon tree and a vegie patch. The hosts live in the main house, on this leafy old-style Port Melbourne street. Use the garden, sit in the sun, but please— no loud music, no pets and definitely no smoking in the studio.
Guest Access
The guests arrive via the side gateway, along the path by the side of the main house to the garden. There is always free parking in the street at the front of the house.
Interaction with Guests
You have everything you need, and your hosts are friendly and kind and happy to help with any requests you may have. Otherwise they will respect your privacy and not intrude on your experience.
