Beautiful house, clean, accommodations for large group, nice location. Easy check in and well informed of the rules. Went with my brothers and sisters, a group of 10 adults, and everyone was impressed. Great communication every step of the way prior to arrival. Would like to come back again.

Our group of friends with our little ones rented this place for a weekend. Loved that there was plenty of beds and the kids used the upstairs loft for the fort making and sleep over. A little bit cold down stairs because the main heater didnt reach but the owners provided protable heaters for the rooms and bathroom. It was a great experience all around. Used the large deck for a small photoshoot with the kids

From the owner: "Thank you Davie, we're so happy that you had plenty of space and had a good time. We love Pine Mountain Lake too."
The house feels old and unfinished. As if someone started a renovation, but ran out of money, and couldn't really finish. It feels like it's being held together by scotch tape and paper clips. The layout is not logical, AC lacking (no AC downstairs where there are 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and the TV area, a wall unit on the main floor near the kitchen, a wall unit in 1 bedroom on the main floor; upstairs got very hot and had portable AC units that block the window and don't cool very well). All the towels provided were old, stained, musty. There was a huge deck, but almost no furniture (a small tall cocktail table and a couple of wicker chairs. We were a group of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids) and there was plenty of space, but we couldn't really enjoy the deck in the evenings until we borrowed a folding table and chairs from our friends who live nearby). There is no driveway, and no direct route to the front door. There is a dangerous slope and a rocky stairway off to one side, but parking and walking down to the house was dirty and dangerous. There wasn't any water in the part of the lake that this house fqcea, so even though it should be waterfront, it's just rocks. Kitchen was decently equipped although old and heavily used items. The house. Would not recommend to stay, and wouldn't stay again. The manager was very responsive, and quickly replied to questions, but the answers didn't really solve our issues. We did forget a backpack and they allowed us to come back to grab it.

We’re glad there was plenty of space for your group and that the manager was responsive and helpful. That said, we’re sorry your experience didn’t meet expectations. After reviewing your comments, we followed up with the homeowner, who wanted to share the following:– Our listing and professional photos accurately show the layout, parking area, deck furniture, and creek view. We also clearly advertise our A/C setup, which includes window and portable units but does not offer central A/C.– We’re actively making improvements to the property, and we’ve noted your suggestions for potential future updates.Your honest input helps us continue raising the bar for future guests.
