Place was nice and cozy. Owner came out on Friday night and told us to be quiet in the hot tub which we felt was rude considering it was the weekend and it wasn’t late at all.
Wonderful property! We were a group of 7 and the space was perfect! Walkable to all shops, historical sites. Jeff was fantastic to deal with, quick to answer any questions! Would love to stay here again.
Jeff was the consumate host- easy to communicate with, helpful and he even gave us a bottle wine! We enjoyed the central location of his house as well as comfortable beds, well appointed kichen, amazing art and hot tub.

This was a really nice place to stay, close proximity to the downtown area. Very clean and comfortable. Cabin was unique and had everything you could possibly need. Jeff was an excellent host with great response times. Highly recommend!
Cool cabin with the largest TV I've ever seen! Lots of unique indigenous items on the walls and shelves as well as carved wooden birds. Easy access to downtown and available parking for two vehicles
We loved our stay in this beautiful log house! There was plenty of room for our family of 4 and the furniture and beds were very comfortable! There was so much beautiful art to enjoy. The outdoor space was wonderful! We enjoyed the outdoor bar, dart board and the hot tub! The shops, museum, saloons and restaurants were within walking distance. The place was well stocked and there was a lovely surprise waiting for us, which we appreciated! The host is friendly and responsive. We would stay there again and would recommend to friends.
Fantastic experience, Jeff was a great host and beautiful log home with all the amenities you could want or need. Location was right in town and made our Dawson trip truly unforgettable!P.s. Pictures don't do it justice, Thanks Jeff!
I’m so glad that when I looked for a place to stay in Dawson and there were no hotel openings for all of us, I found this wonderful home! It was karma! The home was beautiful and cozy, our host was inviting and welcomed us with a nice little gift upon our arrival. We were very comfortable and so happy we got to stay here and we were a short walk to Front Street and the main attractions.Next time I plan a trip to Dawson, I hope this lovely home is available!

There was 7 of us and it was large enough we fit very comfortably. It had absolutely everything we needed for the couple days we were there. We walked everywhere. Would highly recommend this place for large groups 👏👍
My friends and I came to town to celebrate a birthday. We’ve stayed at many different places in town over the years and this was by far the best experience we’ve ever had. The log house was clean and cosy, the beds were VERY comfortable, we had a hard time leaving. The hot tub and big deck were awesome to chill out in the afternoon. The host was amazing and very accommodating. We will 100% come back here!
Just like staying with family (without the family)!!!
Four of us older adults stayed in Jeff's beautiful log home for 6 nights - which he occupies himself during the slow season. The two beds we slept in were very comfortable but we each could have had our own bed! It is a very comfortable log home with a beautiful back deck which we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy every day. He is a collector and there are many beautiful and interesting art pieces in his home. Jeff was very generous with us and we all appreciated it. We would highly recommend if you're looking for something comfortable rather than spartan and immaculate. It's homey and comfortable. And a great location, even during Music Fest.
The log house on 2nd Ave. in Dawson City, YT was absolutely splendid! Our host, Jeff, had all amenities well stocked in both the bathrooms and kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the logs held the cool night temperature throughout the next day as we visited this mining town in June. The hot tub was great to ease muscles from a day of sightseeing! For privacy in a quiet neighborhood, the price was more reasonable than staying in a local motel. I highly recommend Jeff's place!
Really loved our stay at Jeff’s place in Dawson City. The place is even bigger than we expected. The photos don’t do the place justice. Located in the perfect location to walk anywhere in town you only have to get in your car should you want to leave town. There is so many amenities from all the cooking supplies you need, towels, washer / dryer and so much more! The place hoods the temperature well it stays cool being a log home which is fantastic for hot summer days but warms up with the heaters for cool nights.
Will definitely be back. If you’re considering booking Jeff’s place do it! You will have a way better experience staying here than any of the hotels in town!
Unfortunately we were unable to make it to Dawson City due to a road closer cause of a wildfire. Jeff was AMAZING. His communications were prompt and very quick. Once he knew we weren't able to make it and why he was wonderful about explaining how I could refund my money. He gave me 100% refund. I would recommend him as a host. He made this stressful situation so such less than it could have been. If I every make it back to Dawson City I will definitely use him again!
