This property was perfect for a large family, very spacious and comfortable. Plenty of activities to keep the family occupied. The Spa and BBQ was a fave. Overall plesent stay

Poor communication with the property manager

The property itself is absolutely gorgeous and flawless. My family have stayed here with our german shepherd almost four times in the last 18 months and it is absolutely spectacular with serene views, incredibly clean home and all the facilities you need for a relaxing family trip. Unfortunately the reason for the 1 star rating relates to the level of communication with the Property Manager. Due to a death in our extended family two days before the trip we were unable to make the trip. We had communicated this to the Property Manager Elaine a day before via Bookabach, email and followed up by text there after advising we couldn't make it and queried whether we could postpone the stay to another available date and if that wasn't possible queried a possible refund due to extenuating circumstances. Elaine was quick to take our money for the booking and has not responded to any forms of communication. Even if the answer was no to our requests, the absolute halt in communication for an expense that was quite significant and the loyalty we've had towards this property has left a distasteful impression when booking this property with this Property Manager. We have now escalated to Bookabach who have yet to respond. Overall, I'd suggest booking through a different provider and hopefully different person managing the property as it is really an unfortunate situation when the property itself is just so beautiful in ever sense of the word and we will miss being able to return.

***We are open to having small pets stay in our properties but please talk to us BEFORE booking.*** We love having pets stay with us but we have some rules you will need to agree and accept first to help us protect our landlords property and our relationship with our neighbours. And we don’t charge extra for your pet unless you break our rules.

Please read and accept if you are ok with the following: Pet Rules; you agree to clean up after your pet, this includes but not limited to all poo and hair after your pet. You'll also be responsible for any and full replacement for any damage they cause, either intentionally or carelessly. This may include professional shampooing of carpet or in extreme cases carpet replacement if we can not remove the smell of pet urine or poo in the carpet. Your pet must remain quiet, if we receive a noise complaint we reserve the right to cancel your stay with immediate notice.

Only pre-approved pets permitted on the property at any time. Please keep your pet within the house site. Please reply with “We accept the pet rules” and we will approve your booking. Thank you. We have had lots of happy pets stay at our properties without incidents and we are confident you and your pet will enjoy staying at our property too.
