Located on the southern end of the Whalehead community, Salty Horse is less than a half a mile from Monteray Plaza. Walk or bike to conveniences such as grocery stores, specialty food markets, gas stations and a coffee shop, plus beach gear stores and rentals. Nearby dining and takeout services include Sun Fish Grill, Sundogs and Sooey's BBQ. For the ultimate retail therapy session, head over to Timbuck II Shopping Village where you'll find favorites such as The Cotton Gin, The Cottage Shop and Gray's. The village also features some of Corolla's most popular restaurants including Mike Dianna's Grill Room and La Dolce Vita.
