Great Week's Retreat

Great property with all the amenities, including fantastic hot tub and spacious pool. Within walking distance both to the beach and to several restaurants of better than average quality. We never had to get in the car to go out for dinner

Location, Location, Location

Its R Dream was a great place to stay. Literally everything was within walking distance: beach, grocery store, eateries, shopping, and bike, scooter, golf cart rentals. We loved everything about the house. The pool and hot tub were big hits for everyone . As our grandkids would say, Its R Dream and vacationing at OBX was the GOAT.

Me and my whole family had a fantastic time. There was plenty of room to accommodate all of us. They provided tons of beach chairs and most anything you would need to be on the beach which we appreciated. Pool area was nice and clean with tons of furniture. The pool was also clean but did smell strongly of chlorine, which burned our eyes. We loved the hot tub as well! Only bad thing about the pool was no railing to get in. I have bad hips so a railing would have made me feel more safe getting in and out. The house was nice , but it really needs some updates. The carpet was clean but in rough shape in some areas. The decking was starting to look old and worn. The fridge didn’t work well so they had a loaner brought in that was basically sitting in the living room. Beds were a little hard, would have preferred a king but the queen was ok. One thing I really did not care for is the water was yellowish brown when it came out of the faucets. Didn’t make me feel clean when I showered. So definitely needs some kind of water treatment. I just feel like when you charge such high prices for the property things need to be kept updated. In one of the bedrooms there was sand in the bed so wondered if the bedding was changed. When we arrived the grass was pretty tall. After a couple days I called to see if it could get mowed so we could play corn hole. They came day before we left. Overall good experience, we all had a great time!
