Charming, Convenient Mid-Island Nantucket Cottage on Surfside Beach Bike Path

Excellent Mid-Island location, convenient to island bus & along the bike path to popular Surfside Beach; walk to the grocery store, liquor store, take-out & dine-in restaurants.

1 week (FRI 4 pm -FRI 10 am) minimum during summer. NO PETS, please.

3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main floor has 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a bathroom with a shower/tub. The upstairs floor has a similar bathroom with 2 bedrooms - one with a queen bed and another with 2 single beds.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please lower thermostat to 40 in colder months; turn off in summer. Turn off ACs.
Take out trash. Trash pickup is every Tuesday.
Remove food from refrigerator and cupboards.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Nantucket has strict recycling policies. Use only clear trash bags & designated containers. Bring your trash to bins next to the shed.
At your departure, the pillows/beds should be stripped of linens, and a full load of laundry should be started.
The Homeowner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities.

Great cottage and location!

Jo was fantastic at communicating and very helpful! The cottage is adorable and we easily rode our bikes to town or the beach. Wonderful stay!

Great place for a girl's weekend

Perfect for a mother daughter weekend for 4 of us. Walked to town to dinner, rented bikes for the subsequent days and this house was right on the bike path. Perfect for our group. Would stay again.

Great trip to Nantucket

We had a great time at Jo's home, very comfortable and clean. Great central location, right on the bike path. Make sure to rent bikes and explore the island.Jo was very accommodating and we would highly recommend!

Beautiful cottage!

We loved staying at Joanne's cottage! She was so helpful in giving us information about bike rentals as well. The cottage was an easy walk from town yet felt tucked away and private. Very clean and had all we needed. Loved staying here and will come again.

Nantucket wedding perfect stay

We came for a weekend in Nantucket for some of our closest friends and this place was perfect! Close to all parts of town, and a really clean cute little house. I don’t know if I will ever come back to Nantucket, but if I do, I will absolutely stay here again. Everything about it was great!

Great property - large common areas and bedrooms, nice backyard, and conveniently located on the island. Jo was so helpful with the logistics. I can't say enough good things about this rental and our trip to Nantucket!

Family wedding

This charming house was the perfect size for my family (6 adults). Overall the house was very clean. We were however disappointed with the front property. The gate entrance was beautiful online but dirty ( moldy gate) in person. The front walkway was also a bit messy (weeds). Nice deck though. Only wish the house stay offered bikes.

Great value and location on Nantucket

We were a family of 5 adults staying on the Island for a week and Casabella was perfect. With a mid-island location you can easily walk to town (20 min), bike to the large Stop & Shop and Wicked Island Bakery (5 min biking or a 15 min walk), and you're only a 10 min. bike ride from Surfside Beach or 10-15 min. bike ride from Cisco Brewery. A nice wine shop, sandwich shop, etc. are also just a minute or two walk away down the bike path. The house itself is a great value - the bathroom upstairs has been recently renovated, and bedrooms are spacious, bright, and clean. The bedroom on the 1st floor has another bathroom and gives good privacy. The kitchen is quite well stocked for cooking, and the living/dining area and deck out back are all great places to hang out when in the house. We felt it was quite well priced for Nantucket, and would happily stay again. Recommend!

This quaint little property was perfect for our long weekend celebrating our cousin’s wedding. The location was a nice 20-25 minute walk from town and perfect area to take the free shuttle as well. The yard and porch are beautiful and private. The only complaint I have is the need for updated bath towels. The white ones downstairs are very obviously old and used. We also had no hand soap in our bathroom which I thought was odd. While stripping the pillow cases, there were several stains on the pillows. Definitely needs some general cleanliness upgrades but still had a wonderful stay.
