This welcoming lovely guest house, set back from street set on over acre is just charming. The home overlooks stream with view from master bedroom and spacious, open great room. Great room has high vaulted ceilings is very spacious and sunny with a huge kitchen. Foyer has sitting room with piano. Second bedroom, also has queen size bed. Washer-dryer in unit. Very private yet convenient to shopping, highway, restaurants, parks transportation and downtown Stamford. Quaint, rustic, spacious and comfortable guest house accommodates up to 3 people. Close proximity to Downtown Stamford. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and public transportation. Minutes to Merritt Parkway. NYC is only a 45 minute train ride to Grand central Station. You will enjoy walking or biking the lane and enjoying the scenery. Feel free to use the bocce court and other outdoor amenities.
Master bedroom 9x11 overlooks Haviland Brook. Second bedroom 9X11. Galley kitchen connects to bright and airy Great Room with dinette. Comfortable living space. Parking spot for one car on premises.

Storybook Cottage, Wonderful Hosts!

This sweet, airy cottage has lots of sunlight and a beautiful, peaceful view of stately trees, a variety of wild life and a crystal-clear brook. The pictures provide a clear view of the spacious, comfortable rooms and updated kitchen. The central air in summer is great. The hosts are warm, welcoming, and committed to making your stay pleasant and easy. They always respond quickly to questions or issues that arise. Extraordinary stay!

Felt like home

This property was perfect for us. The pictures just don’t do it justice. It’s very spacious, has beautiful vaulted ceilings, and is peaceful, quiet, and comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, cooking ware, small appliances, etc. We really liked how bright the space was- lots of windows and natural light. We spent close to 6 weeks here while undergoing cancer treatment at MSKCC. We couldn’t have been happier staying here. The property is very close to stores, highways, etc but feels like you’re in the country. The hosts are amazing- caring, attentive, and they made sure our stay was as comfortable and welcoming as possible. It truly felt like a home away from home for us.

The property is in a lovely setting with a brook running through it. It is surrounded by trees..and was very quiet and peaceful. The cottage is comfy with a great room with a vaulted ceiling. The kitchen and dining area are located in the great room so it is very convenient to talk and cook.The Kitchen is well equipped with nice pots and pans. It is more spacious than the photos suggest. Easy access to Merritt Parkway but no noise.The cottage could use some TLC.. (. coat of paint )

Lovely convenient location

You are so close to everything but feel like you are a million miles away. Situated in a quiet, wooded neighborhood with a scenic babbling brook in the backyard. The home is spacious and comfortable with a large kitchen. Welcoming and attentive hosts.

Cottage in the woods

With a bubbling creek in the background, this cottage was a great place for my wife and I to unwind in the cold Winter evenings. The hosts could not have been more welcoming, complete with a warm apple pie when we arrived!
