The pool can be heated certain times of the year, perfect for Spring and Fall getaways. Use the additional full-size fridge in the garage for storing extra groceries or the catch of the day.

Guests can also enjoy the Ocean Crest community amenities, including an outdoor pool, tennis and pickleball courts, and a private beach access located just 705 yards from the house. The subdivision is just south of Duck Village, only a mile from the quaint town center filled with dining, shopping and recreation. A multi-use pathway along Duck Road allows for ease in strolling or biking to boutiques, eateries and the 11 acre town park with seasonal family friendly events and a soundside boardwalk.

Generally this house was exactly what we needed and were looking for during our stay in OBX. We appreciate the spacious room that the house provided for our large family. The kitchen was a great size, and all of the utensils and dishes that we would have wanted or needed were provided. Plenty of extra blankets were available if and when we needed. We did not rate this property as excellent / 5 stars because the house was not clean 100% when we arrived. Dressers still had personal items in them, things like bandaid wrappers and other trash were located under beds and around nightstands, and the garbage cans outside were overflowing and completely full when we arrived. We had to call twice and they were not emptied until late the second day we were there. Overall, we still had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the property.
