This was the best stay ever. This place is an absolute gem! You won't find that charming rustic look in other cabins; it's exactly what I was searching for. The cabin maintains a beautiful wooden aesthetic that feels authentic and original. The cozy one-bedroom space was perfect, and I will definitely be returning!"

Disliked: Check-in
The check in process lacks common sense. The only thing smooth about it is charging your credit card. I reserved the cabin 5 days in advance online & received an email stating “I’m all set” the next day. The morning of my trip I reach out to the check-in office because I never received the access code for the property. I was told that I failed to submit a second form that I was not aware of. You know because it’s not my job to know what forms their office needs. I also informed them I would be arriving at 1pm. However once I arrived I was informed I could not be given access until 2pm. This would have been nice to know when I initially told them I was arriving at 1pm. Nonetheless I understand, I know housekeeping or previous guests may still be enjoying the property. But upon arrival at 1pm there was no previous guest or house keeping. The cabin was empty and the administration office just felt per blind policy that my 1pm arrival for a cabin I rented that day was just too early to adjust for. Now the cabin itself was small but well laid out. It was organized & clean. Decorated nicely & had everything you need. If we weren’t so stressed out with all the rules about cleaning and fees we may have actually been brave enough to use more of the features. We definitely did not dare use the fireplace in fear we could not clean it to their standards. Overall the cabin itself was great. The admin however has room for improvement.

Basic

Cabin feels to be just about bare minimum. Nothing special like other cool cabins I have stayed at. This one lacks the “wow” factor. Decor and general feeling is very outdated and underwhelming. It gets the job done but I would not stay here again. Backyard is not useable. Overgrown and dirty with bugs everywhere. Screen missing from the large window next to kitchen and above bed. No lighting in the living room. Ceiling fan lighting does not work.
