Enter this ground floor apartment into a short corridor leading to an L-shaped kitchen/living area with oak wood floorboards throughout. The galley-style kitchen has a 4-burner ceramic cooktop, under-bench oven, microwave, coffee maker and a good-sized fridge/freezer. In the living space you’ll find a large comfy sofa, smart TV, wall-mounted reverse-cycle aircon, and a round dining table with 4 chairs. Glass bifold doors lead out to a private, paved courtyard with another round dining table for 4 people. Back inside the apartment, there are 2 carpeted bedrooms, both with mirrored wardrobes and wooden venetian blinds to help with sleep-ins. The master bedroom offers a queen sized bed, a desk and a ceiling fan while the other bedroom comes with a double bed. The renovated bathroom has a large shower rose over a bathtub with a frameless screen, as well as its original characterful floor tiles. There are shared laundry facilities in the building, providing 2 washing machines and 2 dryers. If you prefer to dry clothes in the sun, there’s a clothesline in the building’s communal backyard.
The Neighborhood:
The apartment is located in a quiet, relaxed part of Bondi, but is just 15 minutes’ walk to the eateries and shops on Campbell Parade and Sydney’s world famous Bondi Beach. It’s even closer to Bondi Road (9 minutes on foot), offering more shops and eateries, while major shopping, eatery and transport hub, Bondi Junction, is under 20 minutes’ walk (often shorter than taking public transport!). For lovers of the outdoors, the Thomas Hogan Reserve is a stroll away, where you’ll find a playground and shelter for picnics.
Getting Around:
Untimed street parking is available. If you use public transport, it’s under 10 minutes’ walk to Bondi Road, where you can catch buses to Bondi Beach in one direction, and Bondi Junction and the CBD (Downtown) in the other. Bondi Junction itself is a major transport hub, offering train and bus services throughout metropolitan Sydney.
Other Things to Note:
* Due to strict no noise no party policies in Strata buildings or local council by laws, we will be enforcing the NO PARTY NO NOISE POLICY - This will mean that we will be able to force an eviction if these terms are breached. If this is the case we hold the right to hold on security deposit and booking amount for compensation for the purpose of any damage, missing keys and potential penalties from the body corporate or local government authority.
* An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm, and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site.
* A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month. This will be added to your total amount and processed separately.
*If you are eligible for a full refund as per our cancellation policy, a processing fee of $50 still applies.
*After check-in, if you choose to shorten your stay, you will receive a 50% refund of the unused nights of your booking.
