About this property

Our home has off road parking and is located in a quiet part of Tokoroa . We are fully double glazed, giving you a peaceful nights rests, and are within a 5 minute drive to town.
We offer two good size bedrooms with a port-a-cot available if required. Bedroom one has a queen bed. Bedroom 2 has a king size bed that can be split into two singles. There is a large lounge area, kitchen/ laundry , large bathroom and seperate toilet.
The kitchen/laundry area is equipped with a washing mahine, clothes dryer, microwave, toaster, jug, electric frying pan, dish-draw, fridge freezer, hot plates for cooking, cookware, utensils cutlery and crockery and utensils.
We have continuous flow gas hot water.

Tokoroa has a very good mountain bike park if you are up to the challenge. It is close to many major centres and tourist attractions including a 45 minute drive to Hobbiton.
Approximate drive times to larger towns and cities include:
Hamilton -70 minutes
Rotorua 50 minutes
Taupo 50 minutes
Tauranga 75minutes.
It is also centrally located for the various Waikato River trails.

Your hosts Stephen and Sharon de Castro have lived in Tokoroa for 6 years. We enjoy the quiet laid-back atmosphere here. We are new to hosting and look forward to meeting you.
We have two beautiful young inside-only cats that live mainly upstairs with us but mostly have the run of the indoors.

Why they chose this property

The view is Picturesque from our place, looking east over homes and trees. It is a very quiet road and family orientated street. There is a lovely walkway 2 min from our place beside a local stream that leads to the lovely Moana-nui Lake home to many water birds.

What makes this property unique

We are very central here to many tourist locations. There is a dairy for convenience food only a 2-minute drive, or it's 5-7 minutes to town.
You will have the run of the downstairs while you are here, and you are welcome to ask to use our small BBQ ( this is portable) or our full kitchen upstairs if you want to cook something spectacular.
Tokoroa is known for its trees and also the amazing Cougarpark Mountain bike park many visitors and locals walk or cycle the many tracks it has available. There is a nice 25-metre indoor heated Swimming Pool with a leisure pool and spa just 5-7 minutes by car it opens during the week at 5:30 am and closes at 6:30 pm.
