Outstanding Bookabach offering in Greytown, NZ.

Being unfamiliar with Greytown, we found by chance the 211 West Street property, "The Snug", online. Conveniently located, this gem of a refurbished 2-Bedroom heritage property was a revelation to us, by comparison to many other properties we have utilised around NZ, over many years. Superbly upgraded completely, inside and out, with high quality fittings and furnishings etc., - like brand new! We would recommend this property. The professional reservation and support services made everything about our stay, seamless and most pleasant. Yours etc., GEOFF B., 26-30 March 2024.

Stay at The Snug, Greytown

Our family group of four thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay recently at the Snug, Greytown. The cottage was situated near the town’s Main Street, and we found it very central to explore the Wairarapa. We loved the cottage and everything we required was supplied. The big beds, luxurious linen, lovely bathroom with toiletries etc, Nespresso coffee pods supplied, bbq outside on the welcoming deck. Lovely and relaxing.

Why they chose this property

Greytown is the first inland town of New Zealand. So it is a lot of really interesting history, plus there is some great places to see and activities to do, in and around Greytown. Wairarapa is an excellent place to bike and hike. There is native NZ bush and beaches close by.

What makes this property unique

The Snug was moved from Whanganui several years ago. We took on the very tired property and restored it to its former glory. We even found fence posts in the walls of this 100 plus cottage! It has been special to be able to save and recycle most of the original matai flooring and bring the old lady up to a high standard for our guests to enjoy.
