Delightful location, but very impersonal and none of those little touches that make you feel welcome.

I'm glad you enjoyed the location but I'm not sure what you mean by "impersonal". We provide a range of teas, coffee, milk and toiletries. All linen is supplied as well as a fully equipped kitchenette. Otherwise it is as in the photos so I'm not sure what you would need to feel welcome. Please let me know how we could have improved your experience. Kathy
Very suitable as we had our dog and there is a dog park and lovely walking/biking trail nearby. Easy to find, and check in and out of.Location great to explore the area.
Dog friendly. Very well placed near dog park and walkable distance to cafes etc. A bit hot at night and only a double bed but overall very good experience

We're happy you enjoyed your stay. We are also happy to be able to supply dog friendly accommodation. And yes it has been very hot over the last few days (30 Cels). We do supply a fan for this purpose plus the cottage is shaded by mature trees. Thanks again for staying with us!
Our stay didn’t start well with a 5 hour delay on getting across the straight and raining. The host was very understanding and helpful on the late arrival, the unit was as advertised and meet all our expectations and was very comfortable,

Thank you so much for your kind words. I really appreciate it!
Not sure it’s right to advertise pet-friendly property as fully fenced if driveway gate has to stay open for other guests at the back of the lot. However, the property manager was helpful and gave me a heads-up when the other guests left so I was able to close the gate and let my dogs roam for part of the time. Everything else about the stay was fine. Thank you!

Pet friendly means that you can bring your pets with you. We do not encourage guests to leave their animals unattended. You are also welcome to shut the gate but it is your responsibility to check if it is shut before you unleash your pets.
Had a wonderful overnight trip with my partner and our dog. Can’t fault the place at all. It was cozy and everything as listed in the description. I would recommend to anyone
