This cottage is at the centre for multiple noctourism activities. No need to bring equipment to identify those stars and constellations, a smart phone is all anyone would need. An excellent position for guests to pursue their own star – bathing experiences. Soak up and meditate the stars and constellations at your leisure.

Stradbroke Island is a small island, as small as Bermuda, and located about 30 km from Brisbane. Mostly unspoiled and has beach escapism down to an art. There are plenty of stretches of fine, white sandy beaches with bright, blue waters of the Pacific Ocean to choose from where you can lay your towel.

There are world famous Pacific Ocean surfing beaches to visit.

Have fun in the sun with activities like scuba diving or snorkeling to see turtles, manatrays and fish off Point Lookout.
Watch the whales jumping during their annual whale migration around May to October on the nearby public viewing deck.

All on 1 level in the cottage are 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms each with a queen – sized mattress.

There is a large front deck with an outdoor table and chairs.

On ground level is a laundry and garage.

Enjoy the splendid space in which to relax and chill. The cottage contains all you need and is your home away from home.

The cottage has a well-stocked kitchen that has an electric cook-top, oven, microwave, and dishwasher.

This accommodation offers the privacy of:

+ a laundry with an automatic washing machine,

+ a “smart” TV that connects to your internet device,

+ USB charger,

+ iron/ironing board,

+ barbecue and outdoor dining furniture.

A smoke – free property. No pets permitted as there are no fences here.

Explore the walking tracks on the island. Retreat to our exclusive cottage for a private escape or go for a stroll on the panoramic Easterly Sea vistas nearby the house. There are plenty of opportunities for wonderful coastal walks near our cottage, it’s a great opportunity to get active.

We are fortunate to be located in some of the most picturesque scenery Stradbroke Island has to offer.

Gaze out over the cliffs and let the calming ocean view wash over you.

Sit and soak up the panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean from sun rise to sun set.

On a leisurely stroll experience the stunning view of one bay that forms "Frenchman’s Beach".

Be inspired and stroll to yet another bay that forms "Deadman’s Beach".

If inspired wander down to a patrolled beach and swim all year round. "Cylinder Beach" is patrolled by life savers, as is "Main Beach", they are always popular spots.

If you like to fish, surf or swim all year around, then this cottage is ideally suited for you, or your family or friends.

Explore and swim in a choice of fresh water lakes
have a picnic,
hire a tennis court,
go dirt bike riding.

Night clubs are not big on Stradbroke.

There is a small supermarket near the cottage.

In Point Lookout, Amity Point and Dunwich, the 3 local hamlets, there are cafés, with restricted opening hours, that cater to tourists and where some local seafood can be found.

This property is only approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans are permitted.

For your added service, comfort and security, this property is managed by and Australian owned to the 'superior' level.

There is no EV facility on the property.

PLEASE NOTE: To finalise your booking a deposit is required, and made up of:
a $230.00 ‘cleaning fee’ and

a $600.00.00 ‘bond’ into

my account, and your personal reference, provided at the time of booking.

After the cleaning fee and bond have been deposited please provide your card or your account number where you would like your ‘bond’ to be deposited to, if there is no damage.
BBQ – a $50.00 cleaning fee deducted from the bond if it is left dirty.

The ‘ bond’ less any damage is refundable 14 days after your departure date.
