Perched in the hills above Le Morne, quiet and not overlooked, 250 meters from the Grande Anse beach in Terre de Bas, this 4-room villa for 6-7 people offers you an exceptional view of the Saintes bay. among the most beautiful in the world, and offers you a private space of 320 m2 composed of:
   - a large indoor air-conditioned living-dining room furnished with quality furniture: leather sofas, large TV screen, DVD player, Bose hi-fi system, internet wifi and satellite TV.
- a large fitted kitchen (American fridge, induction hob, oven, microwave, small appliances...)
   - 3 air-conditioned bedrooms with double or single beds, 3 bathrooms / wc (private to each bedroom), Italian showers, hot water (solar and electric water heaters).
- Electric shutters by remote control room by room.
-Vast terrace with panoramic view on the bay of Saintes (famous among the most beautiful in the world), outdoor lounge in red wood, large salt pool 12x4 secured by alarm, pool-house 'carbet' of 42 m2 fitted out bar, barbecue, plancha (stainless steel gas plate for grilling), outdoor dining room and sun lounger furniture in exotic wood.
- Large green area, planted with local endemic species of Saintes (indian wood, mapou, grapes by the sea ...), and fruit trees (mangoes, guavas, papayas, maracujas, lemons, star fruit, bananas, cinnamon apples , surelles, soursop, plums, pomegranates ... but watch the seasons!). The flowers now come with the cuttings and time...

La villa est grande, très agréable avec un super extérieure, une très belle piscine et une vue incroyable ! Laëtitia s est très bien occupé de nous : arrivée avec taxi organisé, aide pour la location de voiture, échanges très faciles et réactifs. Conditions et procédure d arrivée et de départ très flexibles et efficaces. Un sans faute ! Je recommande vivement

Magnifique !

Nous sommes tout juste revenues de notre séjour de 15 jours dans cette superbe villa !! Nous avions choisi l'Ile de Terre de Bas pour sa quiétude, et son authenticité, et la villa de Laëtitia pour sa vue enchanteresse et ses prestations uniques. Nous n'avons pas été déçues, et le résultat a dépassé nos attentes : il s'agit définitivement d'une villa haut de gamme, très bien conçue, avec des matériaux nobles et robustes, le tout de manière particulièrement harmonieuse. La piscine avec vue sur la Baie des Saintes est un enchantement, et les terrasses, l'agencement intérieur, et cette nature idyllique tout autour subliment ce séjour. La villa est particulièrement bien équipée, que ce soit pour la cuisine, les salles de bains, et l'extérieur ; la propriétaire demeure sur une partie de la propriété, avec entrées séparées, et la conception est telle que le côté privatif est respecté complètement. L'ile de Terre de Bas s'apprécie comme une des dernières iles authentiques au monde, loin du tourisme de masse, loin du consumérisme à outrance (il n'y a que 2 petits magasins d'alimentation ici, aucune discothèque ni bars, ni "bling bling"), avec le temps de vivre paisiblement, bien loin de la frénésie et de la turpitude de nos sociétés mercantiles... La fin de notre séjour coïncidait avec la "crise" du coronavirus en France et le confinement ; dans ces moments plus compliqués, la propriétaire et sa famille ont pu nous apporté conseils et entre-aide, de vraies valeurs humaines, très appréciables. Un séjour de rêve.

5 star Luxury on a private Caribbean island

We are three senior travellers who booked accommodation across four of Guadeloupe's islands. We stayed here, on Terre de Bas, in Laetitia's beautiful home for one week in mid february. Throughout the booking process Laetitia made the arrangements easy and was super helpful with all our anxious questions. She stocked the fridge for us and arranged a meal on arrival. She met us at the port with a taxi and brought us fresh bread every morning. She was a wonderful host. But, the greatest joy was her lovely home. The house was superb, Everything was supremely comfortable and spacious. Everything worked as it should. And, above all, the view was mesmerisingly beautiful. Watching boats sailing into the harbour of Terre d'haut will be a cherished memory for many years to come. We had lovely walks on the island, and were welcomed by locals like old friends. Thank you Laetitia. We recommend this property for anyone who cherishes peace and quiet, superb scenery, wonderful walks and wild life. With 5 star comfort!

Des vacances au paradis!

Nous venons de séjourner 4 jours à la villa Alizé à Terre de bas. Les photos correspondent parfaitement à la beauté du lieu! La maison est magnifique, très bien aménagée, très agréable, avec une vue extra ordinaire dont on ne se lasse pas! Les chambres sont spacieuses, la maison est calme, très bien équipée, la décoration sobre et raffinée, le jardin très bien entretenu... Rien à redire, c'était parfait! Ajoutez à tout cela un très bon accueil, une grande disponibilité ainsi qu'une grande discrétion de Laetitia, la propriétaire, notre séjour s'est parfaitement déroulé. Laetitia est là pour réaliser des courses si besoin, nous apporte le pain et les viennoiseries le matin, nous donne de très bons conseils sur l'ile (sites à visiter, restaurants, traiteur à domicile...). Nous y reviendrons certainement!

PARADISIAQUE !

Nous avons passé une semaine inoubliable dans la magnifique villa de Laetitia, sur ce petit coin totalement préservé et authentique qu'est Terre de Bas. La vue depuis la maison vaut à elle seule le voyage. Sans oublier le confort de l'intérieur, la superbe terrasse et sa grande piscine et la proximité de la plage ! Laetitia s'occupe de tout : depuis le taxi jusqu'aux langoustes. En bref, nous avons tous adoré.

Beautiful view, peaceful location, warm service from owners of well-equipped & well-maintained villa

Villa Alize is a villa of very high quality, such as found on St. Barts. It sits high on a Terre-de-Bas hillside above Grand Anse and offers a spectacular view of Terre-de-Haut, including Ilet a Cabri, most of the harbor of Bourg des Saintes, and the Pan du Sucre. The highest peak on Terre-de-Haut, Le Chameau, is aligned with the length of the swimming pool. Perfect feng shui! I often rested my head on the pool's edge, admiring Le Chameau and the boat traffic in the channel between the two main islands of the Saintes. However, what really distinguishes this villa is how the owners provide on-demand yet unobtrusive concierge service. Laetitia delivered baguettes each morning, Alexandre fresh langoustines (spiny lobster) and colas (yellowtail snapper) for afternoon grilling. She is super friendly and helpful, arranging our restaurant reservations and special orders of tourments d'amour (the local pastry). He is a great fisherman, supplying several restaurants in Terre-de-Haut. We ate at one of them and the chef testified that Alexandre supplies the best fish in the islands. Back to the villa itself: It was spotlessly clean and in good shape. The photos on-line are accurate, if unable to convey its full beauty. Our requests were dealt with promptly. The owners live downstairs and to the side. The way the villa is laid out, we were mostly unaware that they lived close by. Each level is completely private, with its own remote-controlled gate, own driveway and parking, own swimming pool and own wide terrace.The open-air dining area has a huge charcoal grill and marvelous gas-fired Spanish plancha (griddle). Inside, the villa flows nicely. The kitchen is located between the outdoor dining area and an expansive interior living/dining room. There are 3 separate bedrooms, each with en-suite full bathroom. There's also a small 4th washroom with toilet. All the bedrooms have air conditioning units that work well, as does the interior living/dining room. But other than 2 of the bedrooms, we usually kept doors and windows open for the alize ( or trade wind, from which the villa gets its name). We had few problems with mosquitos, using the electronic bug-zapper and citronella candles just one evening when the wind died down and there were showers. That's a small price to pay to be open to the outdoors. Flowers fill the gardens around the villa: Bougainvillea, hibiscus, oranges and passion-fruit. Ca suffit. Our stay was wonderful. Nous reviendrons!

Amazing experience

We came to villa Alize with 4 adults and 3 children for a week. This was truly an amazing experience! The villa is even more than beautiful than what you see on the pictures, and the view is breathtaking. Our trip was simply perfect. Beside the amazing location, Laetitia was so helpful during the whole trip, bringing us fresh bread every morning, as well as groceries on demand, and helped us book transportation from the airport. She also made reservations for us, including to her favorite restaurant in Terre de Haut; what a treat. She was always available and attentive. Terre de Bas is a quiet, beautiful island. Highly recommended!

Merveilleux séjour dans un endroit enchanteur

La villa Alizé est une pure merveille, on se croirait au paradis. La vue sur la baie des Saintes est une des plus belles choses que nous avons vue et les photos ne réussissent pas à en décrire la réalité. Le jardin, formidablement entretenu, est également formidable. les espaces à vivre y sont très bien répartis (salon extérieur, salle à manger et barbecue...). La maison est moderne et ultra bien équipée. Aérée, il est très agréable d'y vivre entre ses terrasses extérieures et ses salons intérieurs. Terre de Bas, île très calme, fait penser aux Caraibes d'antan, comme si le temps s'était arrêté, rien à voir avec la foule de Terre de haut. En cela, l'expérience aussi est unique, l'île ayant su conserver son état sauvage. Enfin Laetitia et sa famille sont des hôtes charmants. Discrets et ultra disponibles à la fois, ils se mettent en quatre pour notre confort (commande des taxis et organisation des transferts, livraison du poisson de la pêche fraîche par Alexandre le mari de Laetitia et le roi de la langouste, pain frais tous les matins, bonnes adresses, y compris sur Terre de Haut, courses faites à l'arrivée et ensuite sur demande...). Bref, n'hésitez plus, si vous voulez des vacances de rêve, à l'écart de la foule, venez à la villa Alizé sur Terre de bas.

Séjour parfait

Choisir Terre de Bas c'est opter pour la tranquillité et l'authenticité. Loger chez Laetitia et Alexandre c'est profiter en plus d'une vue magique sur les Saintes, d'une maison particulièrement confortable et bien entretenue et d'un accueil chaleureux. Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins et chacune de nos demandes ont trouvé une réponse Une adresse à retenir Pensez cependant à louer une voiture !

Top Notch! We'd definitely go back!

Villa Alize' is as beautiful as the pictures depict. What isn’t shown in the pictures, however is the extra attention to detail, its owners, Laetitia and Alex add to make your stay that much more amazing. Laetitia brought us fresh made croissants and baguettes every day and if the fish were biting, Alex brought us fresh fish, beautifully filleted and ready for the BBQ. As Americans on our first trip to Guadeloupe, it was also a huge help that Laetitia arranged our transportation to and from the airport in Pointe-a'-Pitre to Terre-de-Bas. We found Villa Alize to be as magical as the island it was on, from the well-stocked kitchen, to the carefully appointed furnishings (everything super clean and well maintained) and the lovely veranda where we watched the sun rise, or sipped rum punch at sunset while we overlooked the channel and Terre-de-Haut as we reminisced about the days adventures. We can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise. Thank you Laetitia and Alex for making our vacation truly memorable! Scott & Piper Smith
