Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The sleeping and shower accommodations worked out perfectly and the campfire with beautiful views was a hit! We visit the Buffalo River area nearly every year and this was one of our favorite cabins so far!
The scenery was amazing. The hospitality great. The location perfect. Slept like a baby on the comfy bed!!!! Thanks for sharing you beautiful spot with us. Hope to return.
The home is very small. The pond is very small. Our main complaints are the chiggers, ticks, and copperheads! We got tore UP by the chiggers! The grass needed to be mowed as well. We seen for sure two different copperheads on the steps/ path in back yard going toward fire pit.

Thank you for sharing your feedback about your stay. The home is accurately described and pictured in the listing, so we want future guests to know what to expect size-wise. The grass did grow faster than usual during a particularly wet stretch in July, ahead of the regular mowing schedule. As for wildlife, this cabin sits in a wooded setting where chiggers, ticks, and snakes are part of the natural surroundings, though we rarely see snakes in the yard itself. This past July, with the climate and yard maintenance, there were a few. However, that was an unusual month for us. And the snakes typically seen in the area are in the woods and harmless black snakes that help keep rodents in check. We appreciate you letting us know how things went and hope this gives a clearer picture for anyone considering a stay in this forest setting.

Perfect little spot to stay!
We loved staying at this property! The setting could not have been more stunning and the inside was adorable and clean! My kids loved fishing in the pond and we loved drinking our coffee on the porch looking out at the view! We appreciated the thoughtful little touches like board games and children’s books set out in the kids’ room and firewood for the fire pit! We will definitely stay here again.

Very clean and peaceful place. The scenery is beautiful
Loved our stay! Plenty of room, kitchen was well stocked and plenty of linens. Beautiful view and get yard for the kids.
We had a problem with a pack of dogs, I brought it to the owners attention and the dogs were gone!
Will definitely stay here again, one more thing loved having the washer and dryer for our use!

Relaxing
My Sisters and I went as a bucket list. I have small cell lung cancer and getting weaker. The weather was beautiful, the scenery was awesome from the back of the house, hopefully we can do it again in the spring!

Very comfortable home. The star gazing was amazing. The home was clean and had everything we needed. The listing states they have a charcoal grill but they have a gas grill. The back covered porch was the perfect setting for our group since there was a fire ban and we were unable to have a bonfire. The neighbor dogs are friendly and will come visit in the morning.
Our family had plenty of room and the house had everything we needed. The backyard had a beautiful view and we all enjoyed the fire pit. Good value for your money. If we are giving honest feedback the couple of things we didn’t like was how busy the road was, dogs barking all night, and the guest house wasn’t very clean.
