About this property
Grandview Getaway-Lake Access-Firepit-Loft
Relax in this cozy cabin, nestled in the trees near the shores of Pigeon Lake in the quiet yet convenient Summer Village of Grandview Beach. The cabin is very private, yet less than 10 minutes to the Village at Pigeon Lake. The cabin has a modern, open kitchen and a beautiful wood burning fireplace in the open living space as well as a large private wrap around deck for suntanning, lounging or cooking on the bbq. Enjoy family meals in the 3 season patio while listening to the sounds of nature.
The space
Rustic wood floors throughout the main floor and open kitchen living room with a cozy wood fireplace to relax next to. A separate TV room with large sectional couch great for to unwind and recharge. Two bedrooms, both with double beds on the main floor and a loft space with a queen bed and a large lounger chair to escape in your favourite book.
Outfront is a large deck with BBQ and lake views to enjoy on warm summer days, and a lower deck perfect for sunbathing! Head through the screened-in dining area to the large private back yard and wind down around the fire and embrace nature.
Guest access
The entire home is accessible to all guest.
Other things to note
Lake access is less than a 2 minute walk away, bring your chairs down and relax while watching all that Pigeon Lake life has to offer. A boat launch is 250m away at Hamblin Park, no boat trailer parking is available so if you are launching a boat for the day, you will need to take the trailer back to the cabin.
Take a step back in time and go for a walk along the wood planked boardwalk while going for drinks and dining at The Village at Pigeon Lake, where there are 4 different restaurants, bakery and microbrewery plus shopping, groceries, gas and pharmacy amongst other local businesses.
If white sandy beaches are your jam, a short drive to Ma-Me-O Beach is in order. With nearly 3 kms of walkable beach through sand that would rival Mexico, a hot summer day isn't complete until you've visited.
Golf anyone? Pigeon Lake is home to 4 different golf courses, with challenges for every handicap. Black Bull is a 27 hole course, 18 hole competition as well as a 9 hole executive course that will challenge the best. Winding through the trees with plenty of water and sand traps, make sure you bring enough balls, this one is a doozy! Dorchester Ranch has views like no other. Approximately 6kms straight south of the Village on the newly paved RR 11, this course is nestled in the rolling coulees overlooking the Battle River Valley. Willow Greens is a picturesque eighteen hole course conveniently located right on Hwy 771 on the west side of Pigeon lake. Lastly, Pigeon lake Golf Course is located just off the shores of Mulhurst Bay on the north side of the lake with long challenging fairways paired with tricky, blind par 3's this course with provide challenges for all skill levels.
If that's not enough to fill your time, there are km's of hiking/biking trails, quiet areas for canoes and kayaks, and every other outdoor activity imaginable.
