I live in Edmonton and have always loved traveling to BC. I fell in love with the beauty of the East Kootenays and the laid back lifestyle and was lucky enough to snag this property when I saw it listed (July of 2020). The views of the lake and mountains are breathtaking and its so private and serene. From the guest feedback that I have received, they feel the same way. I love that others can enjoy and appreciate this space too and I am looking forward to further developing the path down to the water and a little shelter down there. I appreciate that guests are using their holiday time and spending their money and my goal is to make your stay an amazing and memorable experience. Feel free to message me with any inquiries.

Why they chose this property

I love the location of this property in that it is about half way between Creston (30 mins to the south) and the Ferry (35 mins to the north). There is much to do in Creston from dining, shopping, touring (museum, breweries), golfing, fruit stands, coffee shops, and just taking in the small town vibe. Between Creston and the property is fishing (Duck Lake), Wynnwood Winery (touring/ tasting), Mountain Barn specialty doughnuts & coffee, and an ice cream shop, popular Twin Bays sandy beach, and Kooskenook boat harbour.

Traveling north from the property is the Glass House tourist spot, Destiny Bay Grocers/ Liquor, Lockhart Provincial Park, fishing at Blue Bay, Crawford Bay (Woven Broom, locally made jewelry, and other small shops), Kokanee Springs Golf Resort and the last stop is the Ferry (free ride across to many other quaint towns). Day trips are popular to Nelson, Kaslo, Ainsworth (Hot Springs), Salmo, Nakusp. Never a shortage of adventures.

Popular chill activities of the area are paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, hiking. At many beaches, you will not even see one motorized boat the whole day. It's a very relaxed scene.

What makes this property unique

The thing I appreciate most about my property is its proximity to so many attractions/ fun activities but then being able to return to a comfortable, peaceful, and private location. I love that there is space to spread out and enjoy star gazing at the firepit, chilling in the loungers, and being immersed in nature. I love the view of the lake and mountains and that a dip is just a few minutes on foot. I love that the Tiny Homes have everything you could want to make your stay comfortable (fireplace, tv, hot shower, etc) and all the space outside for dining and relaxing. All of this at a really affordable price point.

If you are looking for privacy, space, comfort, nature and amenities nearby, I think you will enjoy staying here.
