The condo is very well provisioned - Wemi (the host) has thought of everything. Stayed here during house renovations, that of course, went longer than expected. Didn’t need to ask for anything additional to be provided even though my stay ended up being 3 months. I recall a review mentioning there is no air conditioning - true, but when I arrived I found 3 tower fans provided. Though not centrally located, it is close to major roadways that make getting around easier. There is a grocery store literally 60 meters away, a drugstore across the parking lot from that, a liquor store and several ethnic restaurants in the same strip mall. Also a Tim Hortons.
We had a good stay at this condo - it was well kept, clean, and as described. However, we came during a week of really hot weather in Calgary and this unit does not have AC so it was uncomfortably hot and stuffy inside even with multiple fans turned on. The weather was not the host’s fault of course, but I think the ventilation issue should addressed. There was also lots of construction happening to the exterior of the building that wasn’t mentioned, so we couldn’t open the door or window due to the dust and workers walking around - plus the fact that this unit is on the ground floor facing the parking lot.
