Good but much room for improvement
My family stayed at this house for spring break, 7 nights. We have stayed in this exact neighborhood (even at houses with exact same layout) several times but this was our first time at this property. The property was not our first choice but since we got a late start on planning it was one of the few available of the size and amenities that we sought. It is a 7 out of 10. Like other houses with this specific layout in the Formosa area, this home design is super spacious and very family friendly. Even with as many as 8-10 people in past trips the house never feels crowded. The house aspires to be "sophisticated lake house" and it definitely has potential and could be a really stellar rental property. Sadly, right now it isn't there. The property, as it is currently, is a mix of old and new that holds it back both in function and in form. The living room and and kitchen have been updated and are welcoming. The rest of the rooms are a mixture of old furniture and styles that detract from the lake house feel. Again, they aren't horrible but the house lacks a common vibe that many other properties in this neighborhood have. The front patio is screened in but items like the screen door are aged so bugs etc still get inside. The biggest complaint that we had was the pool area. Again, for reference we stayed a a property literally down the street last year, same house, similar pool areas. Previous reviews referred to the pool water level being an issue and it continued to be for us
