The property is true to the pictures on the listing. The cottage has just been redone, fully stocked for our convenience. The welcome package was very informative. Tara & Alex were very easy to contact when we had a couple of question. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely come back. Thanks so much Tara & Alex. Ed & Lori
We had a wonderful stay overall. The cottage is actually even nicer in person than the photos, and it was the perfect spot for our family. The waterfront is especially great for kids, with lots of shallow water to safely walk and play in.One of the coolest discoveries was that it's only about a two-minute canoe ride to the right where there's a huge sandbar. The water is only about knee deep, making it an amazing place for kids to run around, throw a Frisbee, splash in the water, or just hang out. Boats can anchor there too, so it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.Unfortunately, the Canada Day storm caused a widespread power outage that cut our trip short, but that was completely beyond anyone's control. What really stood out was Alex's communication and professionalism throughout the situation. He was understanding, responsive, and genuinely cared about making things right. He even offered us a partial refund, which was greatly appreciated and speaks to the kind of host he is.We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would absolutely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing family getaway. Thanks again, Alex!
