Very clean and had everything needed for the stay. I always bring my own towels to any location i stay but they provided more than enough plus additional pillows and blankets. Communication with the host was timely, would recommend.
We felt at home in this beautiful home. We loved its character and charm. It was a perfect fit for 3 families to stay, sleep, and eat in. The back yard was wonderful, a fenced in yard and patio seating with a grill and fire ring. Noce area! Highly recommend.

Perfect Girlfriends Getaway!
River Haven and all of its beautiful spaces provided the perfect location for a girlfriends getaway! We gathered for meals in the dining room and/or the outdoor deck, enjoyed morning coffee and/or yoga on the front porch, had cozy conversations and crafts in the living room, and all the bedrooms very super comfy. Everything was thoughtfully and tastefully decorated, organized and sparkling clean. Personally, I loved taking a luxurious bath in the clawfoot tub! We also enjoyed hiking at nearby Susquehanna Riverlands State Park. River Haven was truly a haven!
Very nice house, quiet and relaxing. Not too far from Hershey Park. Would definitely stay again! But the only problem, was seeing a mouse come in my bedroom at night. So if that's taking cared of, I would definitely stay again

Could have not been better!
We had a wonderful stay. House is alil old but that is what makes it intresting. Rooms are modern, kitchen as well. Also great comunication with Karen the house host. Thank You!
Nice backyard for grilling, brats.
With the boys. Every room has it's own
Climate control. Quiet neighborhood not too far from anything. Six days never heard a car go by.
I stayed here with my groomsmen the night before my wedding and it was exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of space, nice kitchen, and quiet.
The only critique is that there is no central air, just window units, and there were some rooms without window units. But we were able to get the whole house to a fine temperature, so everything was good!

Liked: Check-in
Disliked: Cleanliness
The interior of the house was clean and in good shape. My only complaint regarding the interior was that there was only one true shower. The other shower was a tub with no enclosure. Bather had to hold the shower head in their hand to apply water and rinse. The exterior of the house was disappointing. There were a lot of active bees and visible nests hovering on the exterior of the second floor and the deck. My one year old Grandson was stung while standing on the deck. The grass in the back fenced in area was approx 8 inches long. The side and front grass were at least two feet long. Many of the boards on the back deck were rotten or split. Lots of wood screws popping out. Trip hazard.

We’re glad you found the interior clean and comfortable, but we’re truly sorry to hear about the outdoor issues you experienced. After sending your feedback to the homeowner, they wanted to share the following:– The grass has been cut, and the yard is now in guest-ready condition. A last-minute cancellation from the mowing team, combined with an unexpected medical emergency, made it challenging to manage the lawn on short notice, and we regret the impact this had on your experience.– We’ve also removed the nests and addressed the condition of the back deck by securing the boards and screws to eliminate potential hazards. We took care of all exterior concerns shortly after your stay, and before the next guest checked in.– The listing photos show that one of the bathrooms includes a handheld showerhead over a tub without an enclosure, so potential visitors can make informed booking decisions. Thanks for your feedback as we work to keep raising the bar for future guests.
We were traveling to visit some local family for an event. The home provided all the amenities we needed and kept us out of the hustle and bustle of the city. The house was clean and well remodeled. It is an older home so sound does carry if you are staying with a variety of people on different schedules. Our toddler was with us, multiple rooms had space for a portable crib, I would recommend though if you use the house with a small child you need at least 3 baby gates to block off the multiple stair cases. Not many close eating options but there is convenient Dollar general 2 minutes up the road for groceries.
