About this property
Alto Chalet | Pine-Tree Views, Grill
Escape to the pine-scented mountains of New Mexico and stay in Alto Chalet, a beautiful mountain home not far from downtown Ruidoso and the lake. The first things you’ll notice when you walk through the front door are the soaring windows bringing nature’s beauty indoors for all to enjoy. Vaulted ceilings with sturdy wood beams give the home an elegance and appeal rarely found in a mountain home. An added benefit is the multi-car garage you can use at Alto Chalet. If you come in winter, this garage will be a big plus for you and your guests.
Your main floor is designed on an open concept that keeps everyone connected whether in the kitchen preparing snacks, dining, or sitting by a crackling fire in the fireplace. Your Alto Chalet living room features a flat-screen TV with cable and a DVD player. When you’re not out hiking in Lincoln National Forest, skiing at Ski Apache resort, or fishing, you may want to pop in a favorite movie and munch on some popcorn for an evening.
There is also free Wi-Fi within Alto Chalet so you can post photos to social media, book golf tee times, and check out menus for area restaurants online.
Your Alto Chalet deck is a great place to sit and relax in the mountain air. There’s also a gas grill out on the deck where you can grill up some steaks or burgers for your hungry gang. Mountain air tends to make everyone ravenous, so come prepared for big appetites.
Alto Chalet also has a devoted media room downstairs where you’ll find a TV with DVD player and comfortable couch and chairs for lounging.
The large, open living space on the main floor provides plenty of room for playing games, chatting with friends, and relaxing on the plush couch, armchairs, and loveseat.
Just beyond the living room is your kitchen, which is open to the main living space. You’ll find everything you need to whip up your favorite recipes in this kitchen. Just make a quick trip to the local grocery store and you’ll be all set.
You can serve eight people around your handsome Alto Chalet dining room table. Generous windows give diners a nice view of the beautiful outdoors. If more than eight seats are needed for a meal, you can set two additional guests up at the breakfast bar.
Alto Chalet has three bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. It’s so convenient to have multiple bathrooms and definitely cuts down on the hassle of everyone getting a morning shower.
Your primary bedroom is a true retreat from everything. Once you cross its threshold and enter this elegant room with the white paneling and vaulted ceilings, you may never want to leave. It is that restful.
Plush blue carpet leads you to your king-sized bed. Situated atop a bookcase in your flat-screen TV, perfect for watching late-night TV. You also have a desk and private access out onto the balcony. Step outdoors some night and look up at the sky. You won’t believe the massive number of stars you can see now that you’re away from the city lights.
In addition, to the shower and other accommodations you expect in your primary bathroom, you also have a jetted soaking tub to enjoy. After a day of golf or skiing, this tub will work out any nagging kinks tormenting you.
Your second bedroom within Alto Chalet features a queen-sized bed with two nightstands with reading lamps and a reading chair. The second bedroom’s private bathroom includes a walk-in shower, the perfect way to start the day.
The third bedroom includes two twin beds, a day bed and plenty of space for kids to spread out their toys and play. The bathroom devoted to guests staying in the third bedroom includes a shower/tub combination and vanity with a vessel sink and large mirror.
You also have a full-sized washer and dryer within Alto Chalet, which makes it easy to keep your group in clean clothes no matter what rugged outdoor activity your group tries.
You’ll have a wonderful family reunion or vacation any time of year at Alto Chalet in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Start planning now and book your preferred dates as soon as possible.
Please remember that Ruidoso is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter. This can affect driving and parking conditions regardless of the property, driveway, or roads. 4x4 or chains may be necessary to access the house during winter months. Maximum 3 vehicles.
