Absolutely lovely place to stay, only a few minutes Uber away from the centre of Darwin. The house is well laid out with three spacious bedrooms and an open plan sitting area/ kitchen, perfect for relaxing and cooking up some wonderful food. Outside the place has a fantastic pool, perfect for relaxing during the hot hours of the day. Perfect for a group of friends to stay at and use to enjoy the local area.

This is a false allegation. I always encourage my guests to reach out immediately if there are any issues during their stay, but no concerns about bed bugs were ever raised. Instead, I received several calls from neighbours about loud parties and music during this booking. I have annual pest protection through a leading Australian pest control company, and since becoming a host no guest has ever reported bed bugs. The mattresses were purchased brand new in 2023. Several days after checkout, this guest contacted me requesting money back, but at no time during their stay did they mention any issue. Since their departure, I have hosted other guests who reported no problems.

great location but needs a really good clean.

the location was great and the house had plenty of room for all of us, the downside was it was a little run down and needed a really good clean. shower covered in black mould, kitchen needed a good clean, the fridge looked terrible and also wouldn’t go cold enough so our food and milk only lasted 2 days and ice creams melted in the freezer. the dishwasher filter was also dirty and mouldy as well. there was broken furniture left outside and the deck had holes in it that need fixing that my toddler fell into. and junk/rubbish in the garden beds.

The guest did not communicate any issues during their stay despite being encouraged to. After checkout, the property was left in poor condition: dirty dishes and cutlery were left behind, firecrackers were used on-site without notice, which burned part of the lawn and landed on the roof, posing a serious safety risk. Used firecrackers were left in a bag in the car park, and the front gate latch was broken. Multiple neighbours complained. The guest also left an inaccurate review about cleanliness and appliances, but never contacted me to raise concerns during their stay. Would not recommend.
