About this property

Peace And Quiet On The Black River

Get away from it all here in the peace and quiet of Black River. Situated on an acre and a quarter wooded lot with it's own pond in a very peaceful setting. Fall is coming and won't be long before the leaves will be turning! Take a beautiful canoe (furnished)ride down the river and see some spectacular fall colors! The river is nice anyway but when the leaves start to turn- WOW! Sit on the porch overlooking the river and watch the wildlife and an occasional fish jump and stir the calm waters. Sit by your own campfire at night and listen to the frogs and crickets break the silence. Get back to nature and still have all the conveniences of home at your reach. A great place to unwind.
The master bedroom has a queen bed and a full bath on the inside.
. There is a full sleeper in the living room .
There is a community concrete boat ramp there to load and unload your boat, canoe, jet ski, or whatever you have. Large sandy beach/swimming area with pier and floating dock.
High speed internet compliments the led tv's in each room. Probably most of your time will be spent outside enjoying nature at it's best!

Black River weekend
We spent the weekend "glamping" in an RV on the Black River. I took my kayak and my husband used the canoe provided so we could explore the river and fish during the day. At night we built a fire outside, cooked dinner on the grill provided, and listened to nature. It was not fancy, just a step above roughing it, but we expected as much and enjoyed the solitude of our mostly off the grid type weekend. Our host was very responsive and accomodating. We would stay here again.

Peaceful
The hosts were quick to respond and very helpful. They discovered an issue with the property the morning we were to arrive (the water pump went out) and offered us an even nicer property a few lots down for free while still letting us use this property. Everything was exactly as listed and it was so quiet and peaceful on the river. We will definitely book again!

This "cabin re-done" is about 30 miles upriver from where I grew up as a kid. I have always been a nature lover and enjoy the outdoors as much now as I always have. Karen and I have been married for 31 years and love doing the same things and doing them together.
It took us 5 years to build this place and we put our heart in it and am sure you will love it!
Now it has taken almost two years to get through the last storms but the cabin re-done is surprisingly nice! We are sure you will love it! Everyone does!

Why they chose this property

Fall is coming and won't be long before the leaves will be turning! Take a beautiful canoe (furnished) ride down the river and see some spectacular fall colors! The river is nice anyway but when the leaves start to turn- WOW!

What makes this property unique

We love this place because it is away from all the busy hustle and bustle of everyday life. When you are here you forget about everything else. Nature surrounds you with all the birds singing, squirrels playing, fish jumping, crickets and frogs at night, just total peace! In the fall all the colors come out and you look down the river and it looks like a postcard. We are sure you will love it.
