Our beautiful guest house offers something for the whole family, whether it be fishing, boating, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, walking or bicycling the nova scotia trails, or 4-wheeling (amazing trails just 2 minutes away). Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Just bring your clothes, food and enjoy!
The space
This property features freshwater lake frontage on the prestige Porter’s Lake, with a private dock, private outdoor seating area with fire pit, BBQ, full kitchen, Keurig coffee machine, Smart TV ready to use, A/C (heat pump), Wi-Fi, high speed internet, Bedroom 1 has a Luxurious king bed and bedroom 2 has a queen bed.

Perfect little hideaway

Lovely little cottage (smaller than it seems from the photos) on a beautiful quiet lake. The weather didn't cooperate for our stay, so we weren't able to take advantage of the 'toys' that were available to us, but sitting by a campfire listening to the lapping water was just perfect! We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Property

This property was very clean and had everything we needed as a couple. When I booked I told the host it was a 20th Anniversary trip. On our arrival we were greeted with a bottle of bubbly and other treats for our anniversary. That was very kind. All in all this is a great property. I would have no hesitation in booking again.

This little lake house was perfect for my husband and I and our teenage daughter. It was tiny but had all the comforts of home and was immaculately clean. There is no cell reception but access to wifi allowed us to do a bit of work when required. It is at a quiet part of the lake and with access to our own dock, we took advantage of relaxing by the water and fishing from the dock. We appreciated access to a kayak to explore as well as a bbq. There is a grocery store close by and is only half an hour to Dartmouth. We stayed for 5 nights and would stay here again.

Beautiful house on the lake with lots of water fun!

We had the best stay ever! Two great beds and clean and comfortable house/kitchen/bathroom! The house is situated directly on the lake with a beautiful shaded garden! A fire pit with firewood provided, for marshmallows and cozy evenings in the Adirondack chairs. Kids had a lot of fun on the water trampoline, and we loved the standup paddle boards, kayaks, and if you know how to fish you can do that as well! :) the water was great to swim in and hardly any bugs! The hosts were friendly and helpful! Great place to be and enjoy while also easy to explore hotspots like Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg and Halifax. We had great food at la cuisine de Brigitte by the way :) Go here!
