About the host
Hosted by Karen

We migrated north in 2021 from the Sunshine Coast thinking we were moving to a small country town. We soon discovered Childers is a town full of fun genuine caring people that all look out for each other and love to have a good time. We thoroughly enjoy offering accomodation for travellers and their pets that is comfortable, clean and well appointed.
Why they chose this property
We chose Childers as our new home simply because we fell in love with the historical town and the Queenslander we bought
that was built in 1912! The stone cottage next door was an added bonus that we embraced and decided to offer as short stay accomodation. We have spent 2 years cleaning and tidying the properties whilst renovating our Queenslander.

What makes this property unique
The stone cottage is open plan with a mezzanine (dorm) level for extra guests. Fabulous undercover area runs around 3 sides of the building and a fully fenced garden area for pets to enjoy.
