Amazing location very close to the hill, beautiful view of the lake, and amazing hot tub! The kids loved sliding down the driveway following the snowmagedon!
The property is absolutely ideal for unwinding with your loved ones. The space is stunning, and the outdoor area offers everything you need to bask in the beauty of nature! Mr. Graham is always on hand to answer any queries and provide top-notch hospitality! We can't wait to return and experience this wonderful place in a different season!

The outdoor space is fantastic. Cabin is very close to the water and plenty of places to sit. The waterfront area is flat which is nice given the hills in the area. The location is close to hiking trailheads for Manitou Mountain. The water is shallow but is deeper off the end of the dock. The cabin was quaint, but not much room to move or store things in the bedrooms.Less enthusiastic about: air conditioning is a mini-split which did not effectively cool AND it did not regulate by the thermostat, as the host suggested it would. There was no dishwasher. There was a mouse trap under the sink and mouse droppings there and in the cutlery drawer. The fridge was dirty upon arrival and at least 15 bottles of condiments taking up fridge space. I don't recall being told by the host that the second dock belonged to the cabin; the neighbor told us, though. Hot-tub was unavailable, but the host told me this in advance. If hot-tub is important to others, then I would confirm with the host. The bedroom window broke so it was unable to be closed. This did not help the cooling situation; the host offered no remedy for the open window. Host response time is at least 24hrs. I left 3 days early, but others who are accustomed to more rustic accommodations would probably enjoy the place.
We had an amazing stay at Graham’s Calabogie Lake Cottage.
The cottage itself was exactly as pictured. It was super clean, really comfortable and cozy, and fully equipped. Graham provided beach towels, lots of shower towels, nice sheets on all beds, and kitchen was well equipped too. The paddle boards and kayaks were used daily.
The lake is beautiful and great for swimming, fishing, skiing, etc. The cottage is conveniently close to shops and restaurants. Would be a perfect stay all year round.
Graham was a perfect host. Gave great suggestions for restaurants and local attractions/activities and he was very responsive and accommodating.
We will definitely stay here again. 10/10 recommend!
