Come enjoy the warmth of the Mojave Desert in sunny Southern California. Rural and tranquil location on the outskirts of San Diego county, ideal location for exploring the deserts various cites and attractions. 35 miles from Indio and 25 miles to Borrego Springs. Features direct backdoor access to State parks with atvs/vehicles such as Anza Borrego (10 miles away) provides recreational activities such as camping, hiking, and sightseeing. Ocotillo Wells State Vehicular Recreation Area can be directly entered with your ATV's, Dirt Bikes, Jeep, Etc. from the private parking port located on property. Enjoy the ease of preparing meals with a full kitchen and Barbecue. The gazebo and inviting outdoor dining area are some of the many great amenities to this home in the desert. The house sleeps up to 6 with a Queen size bed in the Master bedroom and queen size beds in the two other bedrooms, with also a pull out couch in the living room. There is no Wi-Fi at this property but the public library offers 24/7 access. Cell reception is good.

Amazing House for anyone into desert toys

Great house perfect location and very cheap. It would cost you more to bring a trailer or motor home and you have to bring a lot more stuff. This house had everything. You only need to bring your clothes. It has a beautiful yard BBQ and much more. Very big you can't even find a small hotel room for this price. We will continue to stay at this house for years to come.

A very nice place.

We had some very minor issues and needed to call the owner. Everything was resolved within minutes. I get the feeling the owner does not rent this place often. If he did the little issues would not have happened.

Another great year at this property

This location is absolutely perfect for offroad riding. Super close to the only stores and right off trail. The outdoor setting is perfect for nights and it's kitchen and gas grill are very functional for cooking for lots of people. Dylan is great and V takes care of anything you might need. This was our 3rd year in this house. Gagare is open now too! Bike storage is always a bonus.

Convenient to Anza-Borrego

We stayed in this 3 bedroom, 2 bath duplex for four nights. During our stay we enjoyed hiking and viewing the wildflowers in Anza-Borrego and hiking in Joshua Tree. We found the home clean and ready for our arrival.

Good Choice

The property was as advertised and worked out very nicely for a long weekend visit. The weather was a little too cool to sit in the yard but it was certainly inviting. The Salton Sea is an interesting place and Borrego Springs (about 30 miles) is a beautiful side trip. If your into ATV/UTV riding (we are not) there appears to be a lot of dessert to explore. We'd stay here again.

Perfect for TDS weekend!

We found this gem and we're excited to be in an actual house versus all the work involved in the trailer/motorhome. This by far is the way to go. The property owner was very responsive and this residence was stocked with everything needed to make our stay comfortable. The location is awesome! We loved coming back to the house after a long day on the trail. We will definitely be back!

Well maintained home with a beautiful yard

We all had such a relaxing time here. Plenty of room for all of us to sleep. The kitchen was big enough for everyone to help with Thanksgiving dinner. We enjoyed ourselves and talk about coming back again. Thanks for everything.

Peaceful

We loved our stay at this comfortable property. By day, we ventured over to the music festival and drove back to this peaceful place to rest. Although it was about a half an hour drive, driving away from the Coachella traffic and masses made it a breeze to get back. The owner was also real easy to get a hold of when needed. Just what we were looking for

We wanted an affordable place that was still going to be a nice space to enjoy some family time. We loved that we could take our RZRs straight from the house to the store/gas station or head straight out to the trails of Ocotillo. The view of the Salton Sea and the easy drive from Orange County makes this a great option! The property manager was friendly and helpful and the house was very comfortable. The best part was the yard! It was a really great space to bbq and enjoy the desert mornings and nights :).
