Solo Vacation

Solo outing for testing out a new to me boat and a getaway weekend. This property is great. Very peaceful.

Legacy lakeside resort was fantastic! There's trails to walk, kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats, nice beach, clean, very comfy beds, quiet and relaxing. There's also a cool game room, grills, fish cleaning station. We will definitely be coming back! It's our new favorite place to go! Staff were very helpful and kind too!!

Our experience was terrible. Our confirmation said we were getting a “cabin” (so I expected an cabin with a porch overlooking the lake) and we were shown to a dorm room with a dreary bed and bunk beds in a small room and bathrooms down the hall. When we asked for a cabin like our reservation said, we were shown to a “cottage” which was actually a duplex with dreary furniture in one room with a bathroom door that couldn’t close because it hit the toilet and was dirty and smelly. Needless to say, we did not stay. There were no other guests visible staying at this property and only the lady, who was very nice by the way, who was showing us to our room choices. Just make sure you know what you’re getting if you stay here.
