Good hotel in a convenient location. Staff were helpful and friendly. It is slightly dated decor wise but is a good base for exploring. Comfy bed and useful kitchenette.

While the property seems old and in need of some updating, it was clean and seemingly weep-managed. The front desk staff were helpful and accommodating.

ood choice

Situated approx. 30 mins. drive from airport FAO, 5 mins. to the strip, 10 mins. walk to Albufeira Shooping mall, 30 mins. walk to Albufeira town. Apposite you will find a Pingo Doce supermarket. Standard holiday hotel, a bit tired but clean. Due to the situation I can not really rate services as they were closed. My room/studio was on the first floor, typical portuguese style, old but clean. Well equipped kitchen, aircon/heating, strong wifi, Sat.tv with plenty of channels in many languages. Bed very firm with impossible pillows. Linnen was changed once a week. Bathroom (tub) could use a deep scrub and a clean shower curtain. Plenty of hot water. Towels changed every second day. Balcony. Due to the covid situation, the reception had limited hours, but you were always able to get in contact with staff if you needed by phone. Even everything was closed I did not feel left alone, I got help and service if I needed it. I found all staff friendly and helpful. I had a good stay at the Ourabay and will be happy to return
