Our cottage was clean and well organized. It had everything we needed as a family with a nice outdoor table to eat at and a hammock to relax in. The setting was lovely on a well-maintained property backing right onto a piece of jungle. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from the balcony. There was a bbq area available which was a nice bonus. Communications with the host were quick and easy. Thank-you, we would come back again.

The cottage was wonderful. It was conveniently located to restaurants, adventure tours and souvenir shopping. The fully equipped kitchen was a bonus. We were able to make coffee every morning. It was a great value. I contacted the property a few times with questions and always received a timely response. We highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Las Marias Cottages in Monteverde. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it a peaceful place to relax while still being close to town and local attractions. The hosts, Alexander and Maria, were warm, responsive, and very helpful with local recommendations. Overall, a wonderful experience and a place we would happily stay at again. Highly recommended.

Very beautiful view from our balcony/patio! We were warmly welcomed by the owner Alexander. He recommended a fabulous tour of curicancha with his brother the next day. Mauricio was really great, knowledgeable, warm and engaging! I highly recommend. The cottage was nice and we would definitely stay again. Great location and views! I would personally recommend having 4x4

The cottage was very romantic for my wife and I on our short stay in Monteverde. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Private entrance with key lock gate made us feel very safe. The porch is perfect for soaking up some afternoon sun. There are four cottages on the property but each is secluded in their own way. Very close to town. We would stay again for sure. Just longer

Extremely Noisey WIND like crazy it’s not the owners fault but customers need to know ! Toilet paper was So Thin ! Besides that it was nice - the view from the deck shows nothing. But was a cool place besides these things mentioned .

Clean, modern, nicely equipped cabin. Comfortable bed, beautiful surroundings, safe. Excellent service. It helps to have a 4x4 rental to get here but it isn’t absolutely necessary. One note: there are neighborhood dogs that bark some nights. They’re not on the property but they are around. Earplugs were provided and we used them on one night. We would stay here again. Recommended.

Cute property with a nice garden, hidden from the huddle and bustle of the town. There is an equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, and clean bathroom. However, the neighborhood dogs get into a shouting match anytime at night so make sure to have earplugs. It was unfortunate because I love the nature sound.

Awesome stay!

The complex was serene! Felt nice to have our own space with outdoor space as well. It felt like we were in our own little villa. Was able to even see wild animals within the property itself! Also met one of the owners and he was very friendly. The only downside is that the roads getting to the property are very rough so a AWD car is recommended

The place is big and has everything we need (blankets for cold nights or AC for hot weather, hair dryer, towels plus everything to cook). The place is quiet, surrounded by nature and just far enough from Santa Elena (5 min drive). You do need a 4x4 to get to Las Marias. The host was very nice and accomodating with our arrival/departure times. We had a fantastic time. We would go back for sure!

If you want to stay in the forest away from the crowd, this is a great spot. Quiet. Secluded. Need a car to get to and from the city and excursions. Place was clean, well kept, spacious. I’d stay here again! Opened my window and saw monkeys outside!

Perfect spot - not too close or too far away

We absolutely loved staying here! Beautiful, gated property with your own parking spot and own building/ cabin. The cabin had everything you could need, including a compost bin and cooking utensils! This was very nice for us as a couple but would also be great for families. It wasn't in the middle of everything which I liked because that area wa stoo busy. It's very close with still being secluded. The hosts we're also very nice. They checked in on us and helped us catch our tour shuttle that we had booked previously. Definitely recommend this property when staying in Monteverde!
