We had a great stay at Smartr. Perfect location on the Gaia side of the river. Easy to find public transport and just a couple of minutes from the riverfront. Large room and the kitchenette came in handy for breakfast. We would definitely stay again.

The stay was amazing + clean rooms with full needed equipment + comfortable beds with amazing bed sheets + a lot of space in the room for kids + two bathrooms + amazing window view + great breakfast + pool on the roof + very pleasant owner and fast and helpful communication + amazing location nearby the promenade + many cafes and stores nearby

Very comfortable clean room in a great location, check in process was easy and no need to carry keys round with you. Sandra the host was lovely and responded to queries promptly. We paid for breakfast on the last day and it was great. The pool is very small on the roof and our planned pool day was scuppered by a poor weather day! The only thing that could be improved is wifi as it didn’t work in our room, fortunately we had working data.

Location is excellent, 2 minutes and you are at the Riverside. Room was spacious, very clean and comfortable bed. Self check in & codes sent to access the property (There are 2 lifts, so make sure you take the right one) Safe in the room but i could not open it and got no response to my query which is why i gave 4 stars not 5. I would recommend & stay again as its great for a short city break.

Clean spacious room. Lovely bathroom. Very good communication. Rooms were not cleaned during stay which was ok for a 4 night stay. No change of towels. No variation in breakfast but was fresh daily. Coffee very good. Location was quieter than others in Porto so suited us well. Overall no complaints

Clean room.....huge bathroom....vasic kitchen but enough to cook with should you wish...we didnt. Cafes further down the road towards the river. Mainly locals cafes but lovely atmosphere. Ideally situated for walking and lovely restaurants and trips. No conierge, its all automated.

1. Perfect location; 2. Very clean and modern place; 3. Breakfast is always a great bonus👍 4. Excellent communication (quick responses); 5. Very high quality and comfortable mattresses (important after long walks). 6. The funicular to get to the main bridge is a leisurely 10-minute walk away. If (or when) I return to Porto, I will definitely consider this place. Traveled with my family (adults and children). One thing: if you are driving, keep in mind that the nearest parking lots only accept cash.

Vi hade bokat studio med balkong. Rummet var inte mysigt och balkongen var en fransk balkong mot husvägg. Efter en natt uppgraderade vi till systerhotellet som ligger på samma adress. Detta var mycket bättre, modernare och med stor terrass med utsikt mot bron. Tyvärr var poolen ur funktion, vi kompenserades med gratis frukost. Kvinnan som skötte kommunikationen från hotellets sida var mycket trevlig.

J'avais probablement mal lu, mais il n'y avait pas de déjeuner inclus. Première déception! D'abord, je redoute les endroits avec un code d'entrée parce que, malgré les indications, il y a toujours des bogues et, la plupart du temps, très compliqué de pouvoir rejoindre quelqu'un. Malgré que nous étions deux, avec les bons codes portes extérieures et porte chambre, ça nous a pris 3/4 h avant d'être capable d'avoir accès à la chambre. Et je précise que nous avions et faisions bel et bien les bons codes. Très mauvaise expérience à ce niveau. 2 cups de café / 2 personnes/ 3 jours! Comme si c'était facile que d'aller s'acheter des cups de café compatibles avec la cafetière proposée dans une épicerie dont vous ignorez l'existence! Internet d'une autre époque: très lent et où il faut régulièrement se reconnecter. Quoique de que d'une bonne superficie, la salle de bain est très mal conçue: un évier minuscule dans le coin avec un gigantesque robinet, une douche avec un rideau de plastique et un plancher de douche sans rebord ou presque, ce qui bien sûr inonde le plancher, même en faisant attention. L'appartement est bien et propre, bien situé, mais je ne le choisirais pas pour une prochaine visite. Y a certainement mieux rapport qualité/prix!
