Property was secure and offered free, gated parking. It was located centrally to the chateau, restaurants, etc. The staff was friendly and did their best to accommodate our differences in languages. The apartment was very clean, well appointed, quiet, and very welcoming. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom and water closets were so spacious. There was even some hospitality coffee, tea, and sugars. We appreciated and enjoyed the stay so much that we sought out another Domitys property in Dinan, France, a few days later.

A lovely spacious, well equipped one bedroom apartment with a balcony. There was also a welcome note on the door and orange juice and water in the fridge for me. The swimming pool downstairs was an added bonus, and the building was close to the castle.

Be aware that this is not a traditional hotel. It is a residence for seniors. But the facilities and location are great. The room is a little apartment with all the amenities. The service was good, but the staff is not bilingual.

The hotel is very clean and very convenient to Carcassonne castle. Enjoyed the AC. Only one of the staff spoke English, but it wasn't really a problem. All the staff was helpful. We were there for the start of the Tour in 2026. We ate breakfast in town, so no review of their breakfast. The only real issue was with parking the car. Their key system made it a bit awkward to get into and out of the parking area. If traveling to Carcassonne Castle, I would 100% recommend this hotel.

Spent one evening at Résidence Carmina with our German Shepherd. The apartment was well appointed, spacious and very clean. The bed was large and very comfortable. Quality linens. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. We appreciated the secure parking, inner courtyard and just a short walk to the medieval city of Carcasonne.

Overall great place. Everything is brand new and enough for a holidays. Few little things to improve cleanliness, staff friendly and kind. Just round the corner of Cité Médiévale and walling distance to rest of town, worth the money.

Fabulous location, modern hotel

A wonderful apartment, everything new and modern ...fridge and kitchen, large bathroom. . Lovely balcony, and the hotel has an elevator. Very close, short walk to the medieval Cite and the restaurants of Rue Trivalle. Note that this is a Seniors residence, nice snd quiet. Front desk staff very helpful when arranging for a taxi.

A really lovely place to stay - in the shadow of the castle itself which was a 10 minute walk away. It was more an apartment than a hotel room, with fridge/freezer, sink, living area and two separate bedrooms. Be aware that it was initially difficult to find because the rooms are within a retirement home and the facilities within our room clearly supported assisted living. Staff very friendly!

Excellent place to stay in Carcassonne

The accommodation was a fully furnished flat in a new block. It was well-equipped and very comfortable. The flats were not serviced but this was not a problem as we only stayed for 3 nights. The building seems to be a 'Seniors' block of flats with a few flats used as holiday lets but don't let that put you off as it is very comfortable and affordable and is just a short 5 to 10 minute slightly uphill walk to the walled town.

Spotless, and new. The size of a one bedroom apartment. A little weird checking in because it's part of an old age home. Nothing wrong just surprisingly.
