Really nice but only one pool open and one restaurant open. Depending on where you live it can be a really long walk.

Disliked: Room comfort, communication
Never gonna stay here again
Unprofessional service, there’s only temporary parking until you check in, then they tell you to go park on the street but nobody tell you that you could be towed, 4 guys were at the entrance, not one helped with the luggage. There’s no WIFI and no Cable TV in the room
Updated, modern furnishings, clean and well maintained, beautiful landscaping throughout the resort, crystal clear luxurious swimming pools, great wi-fi and cable TV, gorgeous waterfront views from our balcony, fully equipped kitchenette, the list goes on... looks just like the ads on the website, all the information is correct. Parking was busy but we were able to find parking every time, and it's free. Overall amazing property with every convenience I could wish for, exceeds expectations. Also was quiet, no loud music or obnoxious guests. Restaurants are pricy.

3rd time staying at Santa Marina always had fantastic stays - expected some changes/issues due to covid - certain restaurants and shops closed etc. Public area maintenence was very good and clean. But, we only had one cleaner visit to our room during a 7 day stay, would have at least liked fresh towels more often, ran out of toilet paper etc - cleaner left one roll - trash piled up. TV didn't work, asked at front desk twice, was told a technician would come, no one ever did...gave up asking. Our room/building was next to the outside/public gym and late at night groups of teens (8-10) would hang out here and generally be very noisy ( screaming and laughing etc) I understand teens need a place to hang out but it made relaxing on our balcony impossible. Weather was great, downstairs beach area wonderful - but these are not Santa Marina Holiday Village factors - we will have to seriously think about whether we return later this year or whether we look at a different resort instead.
had a terrible experience with customer service at the reception desk and various other parts of the resort. we arrived around midnight and were sent to the assigned condo, which was occupied by someone else! back to the reception desk, who had an attitude that this was somehow our problem, and were not sure what to do. they needed us to supply he creative idea that maybe they should assign us to another apartment, and throughout the process seemed unsureavout what is occupied and what is not.. eventually by 2 AM it was straightened out and the apartment was fine. other people in our group had problems with their apartment door not being able
to be unlocked and subsequently locked, and the atttitide. was similar: this is your problem, not ours, “call your travel agency”.... witness other distraught travelers complaining about the service at the reception desk as well. the resort itself is fine, but wearing down and needing some maintenance. service is spotty, and rude at times. restaurants are ok. long walks required, which can be a plus depending on what you’re after . breakfast is average.
Clean, quite place, great restaurants, friendly personal

Apartment was on the ground floor so easy access to the all the amenities. Wisteria growing over the balcony had not been cut back and blocked out most of the sun. Air-conditioning pipes not connected so water dripped all over the balcony.
pools were lovely although the one nearest us was out of action for 2 days. The greek restaurant was good, the pizza place did not have any mozzarella when we went and the sushi bar was not open at all.
It is our second visit to Santa Marina with our family. Last time we stayed in penthouse. Our two bedroom flat was also nice with both pool and sea view. Place is family friendly, quite and comfortable. Only the laundry service was little different then first time but it was maybe accomadation difference. Everything except laundry service was good enought.
Every room has a view to the sea. Very comfy. The bad... Some people do not realize that having so much wood and textile means a big fire risk and throwing the smoked cigars outside from the balcony is not the right way. Already informed the Village management team about this.
Nice hotel but was gearing towards the end of the season so shops were empty and not all pools open.
Would stay there again without hesitation as nice location and friendly staff.
I booked this hotel for family vacation
The good thing about the hotel is provide apartment sexcellent fore family vacation – spacious, comfortable.
The village is located on hill and not being able to park a car close by the building we stayed was a minus.
The beach adjacent to the village is terrible but the good thing is that the Golden fish beach is on a walking distance.
Our apartment and our friends apartment had spectacular view to the Black Sea.
The resort is absolutely massive and in order to get the most out of it you need at least 3 nights there. The 5 pool areas are amazing and the restaurants were good quality
Some reviews have mentioned bad/chaotic service, but that’s just the Bulgarian way: you have to expect that food will come out when it’s ready, and not the “all the starters - wait til finished - all the mains “ method you’d get in England - it’s different, it’s fun, enjoy it
We travelled with out 9 month old and the staff were lovely to her. As a place for older kids to run around in safety it’s perfect
Rooms spotless - air conditioning perfect
The resort is built into a hill so expect lots of steps - there’s a few ramps but you can’t actually get to the most apartments without a few steps - when it’s near on 40 degrees outside and you’re once again lifting a heavy pram, it hurts!
Very clean, excellent facilities, superb swimming pools that were never very busy. Beach area not as nice as the pool area in my opinion, but beach seems very popular with other guests. Reasonably priced supermarket on site. 20 minute walk to Sozopol.
Beautiful grounds, close to the beach. It was paradise! Lovely pools. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Not good for people with mobility issues though as the complex is on a steep hill. Wouldn't hesitate to go back!
Fin opplevelse totaltsett!
