Great location and views

The location was great, right over the road from the lagoon and we had wonderful views of the water from our room. While I wouldn’t call the room luxurious, it was clean, well maintained and very well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Good communication and staff were friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing Stay

My partner and I stayed at Paku Lodge for the first time over New Year and absolutely loved this place. The location is spectacular, right on the calm sandy bay. We loved sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine enjoying the sunset. Walking distance to Paku summit for 360 degree views, beautiful beaches and nice cafes/restaurants and short drive to town for supermarket/take aways etc. The apartments with kitchen and ensuite bathroom are clean, spacious and comfortable. Family run and super friendly. Can’t wait to go back!

Great place to stay

The hotel was situated directly opposite the water and access to push bikes and kayak if wanted . Fabulous views from balcony and rooms very clean . Close proximity to 2 excellent eateries , the old mill Especially good .Friendly , helpful owners .

Great Hotel in Beautiful area.

Great place, clean comfortable, helpful friendly staff. Will stay here again. Only complaint is for wifi having a 200 mb limit and login being expired in the morning prior to check out. Other than that this place is very good value with amazing views.

Hidden Gem!

A lovely location! Quiet with beautiful views. An easy walk to the beach. A cafe nearby for breakfast. Good size room with basic cooking facilities. The gentleman at reception was most helpful with recommendations of places to visit. There were canoes, bikes and spades available for use, free of charge! What a great service for an excellent price! Unfortunately we found the pillows very uncomfortable which affected our sleep quality but this is a minor issue and next time would bring our own pillows! Definitely a hidden gem. Just be aware rooms are not serviced daily. Found all the locals very friendly :-)

Excellent motel

Excellent stop on a tour of Coromandel, with really friendly staff . Property was a really comfortable motel with added extras of bicycles and kayaks to use free of charge. Directly opposite small beach, at the beginning of Mount Paku summit trail and near a lovely cafe for breakfast, The Old Mill Cafe and smart restaurant, The Beach Club for one of best meals of the holiday. Really recommend this place for a short stay.
