We love this spot. Came here pre kid 15 ish years ago and returned with our 9 year old. There is a new building but the vibe is the same. Walkable uphill and downhill to restaurants but certainly stay and try the onsite at Sloth. The food was lovely.

Good location- we could walk up the road to lots of nice restaurants and down the road to the beach. (Both ways were quite steep though). The staff were all so friendly and the room (iguana) was very comfortable with everything we needed. As others have said it was nice to sit on the balcony and watch the monkeys come through- unfortunately no sloths for us. The only thing that went wrong was that our breakfast in a box didn’t arrive (so double check if you order one) but they sorted it al out so it was all fine in the end.

The property is gorgeous! It is surrounded by trees, plants, and wildlife. The staff are very attentive and helpful. The food at the hotel restaurant is made fresh and taste delicious. The beach and Manuel Antonio National Park are a short distance away. The market and restaurant are walking distance from the hotel.
