We received an email from them as we landed at the Cancun airport to indicate our room wasn’t available, the replacement accommodations they offered looked in no way comparable. At least they quickly refunded our money but we were left to scramble to find another hotel during the cab ride from Cancun to Playacar. We’ve never had anything like this happen before!

Great location and great service - the onsite team is favoulous - the giant roaches and we found a scopion on the kitchen if my son was bitten this could have turn out to be a nightmare- close to the jungle so it may be expected just know what you getting into - if you get freaked out by roaches and scopions this is not the properly for you. we have to constantly be on our guard my wife would not leave my kids to sleep on their own.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at paseo del sol, there was some miscommunication in the beginning regarding our late check in, but after that everything went well. The hotel is in a secured community which made us feel safe, and the beach and plaza were at walking distance. After getting our bracelets, it was very easy to go in and out of the community. We really liked that the condo we had was suitable for 6 people and had its own kitchen with all the utensils needed, which saved us some money from eating out. The pool at the condo is very nice, the water is pleasing and the area was kept pretty clean. If you're thinking of visiting playa del carmen with a big family, this is a very good place to stay at 👍

Affordable. 3 bedrooms/2 full bathrooms. Clean. Very friendly and always helpful staff! We asked for anything and it was in our room in minutes. They helped with phone calls in Spanish. Gave us advice about places we were going to. Can not praise them enough! Our condo was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated.

Our condo was very nice and clean. We arrived late Sunday night and one of the room air conditioners did not work and Paseo had staff fix it Monday morning. We so appreciate that. We had our own car and parking in the lot was no problem at all. All of Playacar is gated and it was quite difficult a few times getting back in, until we asked for a property bracelet, that we did not know we needed. After that, it was easy to get in and out of the gates. The pool is beautiful, except it was extremely warm. If you come to the Playa Del Carmen area during summertime, just beware the seaweed is a major problem, that cannot be helped. Overall, we had a nice stay.

The condo location was great. Playacar is well protected and very safe to walk at any time. The apartment has all kitchen utensils, they also provide beach towels but that's it. All the faucets (especially showers) in the apartment are outdated. The best shower is at the terrace. The access to the public beach is about 5-7 min walk. Make sure you buy a beach umbrella as there is no natural shade on the beach. I thought we were going to have access to The Reef (as all the current residents seem to have) but we did not. The available pool is gorgeous but the water is warm most of the time. There is a person in the front desk from 10-5 pm. If your flight is earlier than the check in time, make sure you notify them ahead of time. Erika and Rebecca were amazing and responded to every question and needs we had.

Great location within a few minutes walk to the beach and fifth avenue. This is in a very safe gated community. They like the pool area to stay very quiet which can be challenging with a family. We mostly had the pool to ourselves. Overall, a lovely place!

Beautiful property. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable about the area. The pool was clean and not crowded, though a bit warm. It's the Yucatan so there's not much they can do about that. The condo had laundry facilities which was great but no detergent or fabric softener provided. The condo had a full kitchen w/ dishwasher. We had a bit of trouble with the master bedroom AC but they tried to fix it. The compressor needs changing. I would recommend Paseo.

I love the secure location, distance to la Quinta and quietness of this place. What I really wasn’t too happy with was the communication. I would ask a question to the receptionist on site and they would just look at each other and reply with i don’t know.I found out I had access to the laundry room the day before leaving. I asked if there was a laundromat near by and then I was told I had the key to the laundry room that I didn’t even know they had. Other than that I like the secure location, knowing my kids are safe when they would go out for a walk.

Det var rigtig fint. Rigtig fin service. Manglede at det måske var en restaurant tæt på stedet. Man skulle alligevel gå lidt. Eller med taxa. Hvilket også var økonomisk fint med sats priser i hele byen så man vidste man ikke blev snydt. Det er rigtig varmt i playa del Carmen men trods dette vil jeg sige at poolen var for kold. Det er vidst det eneste jeg kan sætte en finger på. Vi var afsted to familier og oplevelsescenter var rigtig god.

Las instalaciones son muy comodas y el personal muy amable... La piscina esta grande y cuenta con chapoteadero. Esta ubicado en una excelente zona, las areas del alrrededor estan padrisimas. Esta cerca de la playa, centros comerciales y la quinta avenida.

Best place in Playa Carmen to stay!!

I forgot the main gentleman that opens the gate but he was awesome. Very friendly and always willing to help when we had questions. Yvonne was wonderful. She was awesome with helping and answering all of our questions. She goes above and beyond her job to help you. My only complaint was how hard the beds were. Some may enjoy hard beds but our mattress at home is soft so we didn't sleep very well in the beds. Only complaint though and that is more of a preference. We enjoyed the location, we felt safe. The condos are beautiful. You have everything you need. Great location to other sites. Staff is super and wonderful. I will definitely be staying here again on future trips.
