Our apartment was quite well equipped and all the staff were very welcoming. We were on the upper floor amongst the trees which we found was terrific for birdwatching.

This is quaint marina-style resort. It has some age to the facility, but that added to the enjoyable atmosphere. I would love to stay here again.

In a word, Shauna. She’s the hotel manager who took excellent care of us. Our plane was very delayed but she was there waiting for us at night to make sure our driver would stay. She showed us to our room and said to not worry about checking in until tomorrow because we were tired. Checked on us the next morning. She was amazing.
We stayed in a seafront 2 bed cottage. The resort is small but beautiful. The grounds are beautifully maintained.
The cottage itself was lovely. Very clean and with a great veranda with a view over the little beach and the marina. The kitchen and bathroom could do with a refresh but other than that it was perfect.
The restaurant food was good and the staff were excellent. It opens at 11am through to 9 pm.
The Meet and Meat shop was also excellent. Lovely fresh bread and pastries, meat, fish and some fruit and veg. They are closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday but have an excellent frozen section so you can stock up beforehand. The frozen baguettes were fantastic.
The resort is in a remote location so either hire a car (driving in Grenada is certainly an experience!) or be prepared to use taxis.
Final shout out to the manager, Shauna, who was an absolute star! Nothing was too much trouble she can sort out just about anything you need.

Amazing resort right on the ocean. There are 3 property cats that are sweet and fun to have around at night. The staff is very kind and friendly. The only thing we found challenging was the distance to other things such as groceries and restaurants.

Relaxing with great food and cocktails
This resort is not walking distance from anything else, BUT you don’t need anything else. The rooms have small kitchens and there is a well stocked mini market. They have an Asian kitchen for breakfast’s and lunch along with the main restaurant which is superb - the best food on the island. Great marina is you are arriving by boat. Small beach but good sized pool. Most importantly all of the people here are happy and friendly which creates a great atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend. Thanks to Shauna for always being there for help and advice
We were lied to by Expedia, this property did not have free shuttle to the airport, plus it was 30 or more minutes from SGU and it cost $50 for a taxi each way. Expedia said it was 10 minutes away. The plumbing seemed to be an issue. The toilets did not flush well. The doors to close for the evening did not work/close, had to call maintenance.

Beautiful location, disappointing service
I stayed at Le Phare Bleu Marina Resort for one week in a Seafront Two-Bedroom Cottage. The property itself is very beautiful, but unfortunately, my overall experience was extremely disappointing.
On the very first night, after showering and heading out, we returned in the early hours of the morning to find there was no running water anywhere in the cottage. There was no staff available to ask for help, so we had no choice but to go to sleep and wait until morning. Thankfully, the water was back on when we woke up, but it set the tone for the rest of the stay.
Another major issue was the showers. On the first day, there was warm water, but for the remaining six days, it was only cold water. It honestly felt like the hot water had been shut off. Taking cold showers every day was not only annoying but completely unacceptable for a resort at this price point.
By the third day, I realized no one had come to clean the cottage, replace towels, or take out the trash. I went to reception to ask and was told rooms are serviced on the third day, so I assumed service would happen. We returned later only to find the room still untouched. On the fourth day, I asked again and was assured it would be cleaned. That evening, we returned to find towels changed, trash taken out, and the floor mopped. However, the cleaning was clearly incomplete—the sink and toilet were visibly dirty, and I had to use dish soap to clean them myself.
Great little villa but would have really liked the outer door to lock completely. Staff was great for the hotel, restaurant was very slow but good food.
A beautiful place in a beautiful place! This hotel is off the beaten path but worth the daily (sometimes more than daily) trip to get to the other places on the island. The food at the restaurant is quite good, and our only advice is to go when you are not hungry because by the time your meal arrives you will be! (code for service is an opportunity area). Highly recommend!
We really like the cottage where we stayed: spacious, comfortable, clean, opening up directly into the garden, nice separate kitchen, sunny. We were with our two teenagers so space is critical. Service was friendly, even if provided at the proverbial Caribbean pace... Also enjoy the setting next to a marina and the possibility for a light meal on a boat. The pool could be cleaner and service at breakfast, a bit faster. For those where the beach is a priority (we live in Barbados so we do not care), the hotel sits on a very small beach with muddy water and algae. There are many better beaches in Grenada.
The mosquitoes were bad. Eventhough they provide a scented oil spray to help, they were quite annoying. Other issue was the poor service at the restaurant. As far as food is concerned, no dinner on Sundays. Lunch menu good but breakfast is limited and not very good. Each place has a kitchen. I'd plan on doing some of your own cooking.
We could not have asked for a better stay. We rented a sea view villa and it was perfect. Great layout, quiet and the perfect view for a morning coffee

Great place, not crowded, friendly and accommodating staff. The service could have been a little better but that was true of the entire island and not specific to the resort.

Peaceful and quiet place.
Unique location on an area of the island that is mostly residential. The Marina is nice to have and meet others. Staff was nice and helpful. We ate at the restaurant many times... fish bites and fish tacos are great! The Lightship on Friday was fun.
There are things that could have been better. The paddle boards are not the best (one is missing a plug and fills with water) some of the beach chairs on the sand were falling apart. Our kitchen has enough miss matched stuff to make dinner for two... but barely. You need to taxi or rent a car. We used Ryan and Larry as our taxi rides everyday and they are great.
Overall not bad and we would return if we have the chance.

Very nice relaxing place. We loved the bungalow with the private pool in the middle!
The manager was very helpful so was also the lady at the welcoming desk. Recommended place indeed!
